If they're writing a long post on a board, it might show them as being offline (they drop off the list) because they haven't changed a page for a while, they've been incative, even though they may be typing or doing something else. But as soon as they hit 'send' it should show them as being on that board again. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my friends list lately.

and the chess discussion board;

Wow, great thoughts there Pythagoras. Could replies go to a different board, maybe rezas fellowship or the debate club? (I'm sure people will want to debate about some points!) Maybe you could post a link to the place you'd prefer to discuss it, Pythagoras? If you're willing to, of course.

In the next day or so I'll be putting all the questions together for Pedro's interview. So if you have a question for him but haven't sent it, now is the time to do it before its too late!

heavenlyemma: Thats not true, Emma. If a complaint is made appropiately something will always be done. This is getting inappropriate though, its ok to ask about the best thing to do in certain circumstances, like Lamby did to start with, but details should be kept for PM's.
If someone is bothering you in games, ask them not to speak to you again and warn them you'll report them if they carry on. If they do, send the notes to a global mod and tell them you're not happy with this person. That really is the best way to go about it.

Please, if you have a problem with an individual, don't post about it here. There are better ways of dealing with it. For starters, add them to your blocked user list and place them on hide on any boards you're having problems on. This way they can't message you, invite you to a game or leave you a message on a public board.
If they somehow still bother you, contact a moderator for further advice.

Subject: Interview with.....
Normally on interviews I would wait until the last person has answered all the questions and they've been posted, but since reza is having problems with his PC I think we should carry on to the next person.

Which is.....

Pedro Martinez

Usual way please, send me any question you'd like to see asked of Pedro and I'll put them all together and send him them. Please say if its ok to use your name on the questions.

MagicDragon: You have a few options, you can either:

pay as a rook, and the remaining knight days will be transfered to your rook membership (so you'll have over 6 months rook membership)

Stay as a knight until it runs out then the rook will begin or

ask Fencer how much it would be to upgrade to rook and he'll give you an exact figure to pay.
