Dice Poker for Brains #1 - 50 brain entry fee. 10 players. 2 sections of 5 players. Each player will have 2 games against each of the opponents in their section. The final winner will receive 300 brains, and the 2nd place person will receive their 50 brains back. You can also look up the bkr ratings page on the game and try inviting people. Depending on your style of play, the latter option can be better. If you like a fast game, then the latter option might be better because there are people who play a LOT of games at a time and that tends to draw out their moves. 20. January 2007, 02:20:11 Subject: Re: eligible for tourney? tarcellius: There seems to be reason to believe that the one-tournament-per game restriction was removed without an announcement. Also, the fact that you are currently playing two Pente tournaments is strong evidence of this, unless you were a Rook at some point in the past. I would recommend against upgrading your membership, unless you want to do so for other reasons. It would be a shame if Fencer's habit of inadequate documentation led directly to an increase in his profits. You're listed as being signed up for the tournament in question, and (while I could be mistaken) I believe that if the restriction were in place you would have been unable to sign up at all. I expect you'll be able to play without needing to upgrade. 20. That might have happened and tricked the check. As luck would have it, I'm waiting for the next round to start in both the tournaments I'm already playing. So I can't easily resign my way out - and I'm reluctant to do so after playing to get there. :) So I'm probably faced with upgrading to rook to be in the new tournament. But thanks to everyone for clarifying that the restriction does apply to this situation. 20.
