Subject: close but not actually autopass
I know Fencer does not like autopass. Instead of having an autopass feature could you put all the pass ones in a seperate group so players can quickly go through them and click pass. There should also be a "Go to next pass" option in the list that is default when you click on a game in this section.

رضا: The majority of Brainking members are pawns so purchesers would still get good coverage. I personally don't mind the google ads and want to suport Fencer so I keep them on and even click on them ocasionally if I see something interesting. Though the ads on the right bar should be limmited. With the 1 ad there I can still see everything on my screen 1024x1280. More then 4 and stuff would start falling off the screen. However on a 1280x1024 monitor you can only put 1 ad before stuff I want to see falls off the bottom.

Subject: Ludo Variant
I remember this game playing slightly different as a kid would be cool to have another variant.

1) Rolling 6 or 1 will get you out
2) Get to roll again if you roll a 6 or a 1
3) Consective rolls do not need to be done on the same piece. Can use 6 to get out then use next move on a different piece to move.
4) 4 players if possible.

Subject: Re: “practice board”
redfrog: Only problem with this idea is it is normally when playing a game in real life you have to play out the senarios in your head. Having a board to play them out on is kind of like using another program to help you win. I think this would be a useful feature for past games. Have the ability for players to save the point at which they have figured out they can't lose and let other players try to figure out how they did it.

It would be helpful if the bug tracker was searchable. This would help cut down on duplicate reports. Beter yet if when you submit a bug report it automatically searches and tryes to find duplicates and asks if they are the same before submiting the report.

I like Walter Montego idea of allowing the big boss to delegate responsibilities to other people. I would hover like to see that in my list of fellowship members check boxs beside there names so I can check say 10 people that I want to give more powers to and then have it go to a new page were i could give all 10 at once the ability to invite new people, create ponds, ect. And also a select all button so that I can allow everyone the ability to invite.

rod03801: I am talking about before the tournament starts. The tournament will not start without a minimum number of people so I think that Brain King should show the payout calculated on whichever is hier the number of people signed up or the minimum number of people for the tournament to start.

I agrea once it has started that it should still show the prize payout.

rod03801: brain tournaments. IT should show the payout at the minimum start amount until the minimum number of people sign up.

I.E. if atleast 4 people have to sign up before it will start at 100 brains each and 50% for the 1st place winer the first 4 people should see 200 brains as the payot for the first place winer.

Walter Montego: That would be an interesting program to write. But if some one writes it they should make it so it will work with BrainKing. The game would keep track of all moves so the viwer screen is possible but will also report back to BrainKing the moves the players make for the sake of the rest of us.

plaintiger: I know I am answering an old post but I was at work.

It doesn't mater what operating system you are using as to how much information a person can gather about you. The way the internet is set up unless you are using a tone of proxy servers any person with enough know how could monitor every web site you go to and every thing you do on them. If you are truely woried about security and don't want people to see what you are doing only go to web sites starting with https:// only use dial up internet access(and dial a different number every time), and get yourself an account with a whole bunch of off shore proxy servers. Privacy is an ilusion when it comes to the internet.

Subject: Re: dark games
How about instead of goto next non dark game. Have a goto next game in group option and let us groups our games into several user definable categories.

For example I can create a group called Friends and put all the games I am playing with my frineds in that catagory. It does not need to be automatic as long as we have the ability to move them from category to category.

Subject: Re: Plinco line 4
BIG BAD WOLF: I thought of that myself. Without making a hugely complicated model taking spin into account and just using gravity it would be 50/50 as the pegs would remove the lateral move ment when the piece squezzed between them. In real life spin would have a much greater effect as this would not be entirely removed by the pegs. It would however be altered.

playBunny: I agrea that we may want to play with the odds. I just thought the game up while on a walk as far as I know it does not exist in reality so we would need to figure what makes the game the most fun but also involving some skill.

Subject: Plinco line 4
I propose the creation of plinco line 4. It is played on a diagonal board. Each player puts his pieces in one of the rows at the top. When the pice hits a peg it will take the following action:

1) If only 1 way is possible it will go that way.
2) If 2 ways are possible it will randomly take one path.

The server should show the path your piece took for curiosity sake. This game will be different in that it has some element of luck but would be fun.

Fencer could you have your server only send one message saying the tournament has been started and some games were canceled? If your tournament has all games it is a couple pages of messages to have to delete.

Subject: Battle Boat Plus Equalized Variant
Modified by mctrivia (29. December 2005, 17:29:39)
In Battle Boat Plus White has a 20% better chance then winning then Black. I beleive this to be do to White getting an extra turn(I.E. white could destroy 2 whole ships on first turn[not likely]). To equalize this difference between white and black I propose that the number of shots is recalculated after each of blacks turns(If white destroys 2 ships off the bat black still gets his 5 shots and can destroy 2 of whites ships they drop to 3 shots each after this). This change will result in more ties since black could make a shot with no ships left and sink whites remaining ships.

The background looks great on my 1024x1280 monitor(portrate) but on my 1280x1024 monitor(landscape) it gets in the way of reading the favourite board list. I know I can turn it off but it looks cool. Turning off tieling or having multiple size options would work.

Walter Montego: Ah well I have never let a game get as low as 1 hour so I haven't seen the red. Red at 1 hour makes sense. Or even red by user specific. I agrea that is isn't that important a feature as I sort my games in order of time to time out and use autovacation. But I would like any feature that would stop my oponents from timing out. I have a few friends that I usually end up calling and telling them they are running out of time just so I can keep playing.

An option that may be more useful for those people that are cronicly timing out is have an e-mail warning when they have 24 hours left(this should be user selectable like the e-mail for your move). The problem is most likely they don't log on that often.
