can anyone tell me the facts - no guesses nor opinions, please; those are of no interest nor use to me - but rather the facts - about whether a black rook membership may be transferred - whether given or sold or whatever - to a person other than the original owner?

thank you...

plaintiger: I dont see any way for Fencer to prove (with any absolute certainty) if this has been done, nor should he care, really, since he got paid for someone to have all of the benefits of a brain rook FOREVER! It does not say for life, but forever, so it has to be transferable, since non of us can live forever!

Czuch Czuckers: He said it was not transferable - what more do you want? Just because you may not be caught does not make it right. Just like people who use computer programs to play Chess or Checkers on here - just because they may get away with it because it is hard to prove, it still makes it against the rules.

Fencer: Czuch is right - the black rook option does say "forever". and that word has only one meaning...

if i don't want it anymore, why can't i simply give my black rook membership to one of my friends i know would appreciate it? if it doesn't bring about a change in the number of black rooks on the site, what difference does it make whether it's me or someone else behind the black rook icon? hell, i'd think you'd be *relieved* to have it be someone else.

Fencer:Czuch is right - the black rook option does say "forever"

(75) - select the "forever" option, (That comes directly from the paid membership page)

Czuch is wrong.

Fencer: A couple of questions, out of curiousity.... If you purchase a black knight, and become a knight forever, how much would it cost to upgrade that to a rook for any length of time?

Also, how come there are an odd number of black rooks,@75 right now, since it was a 2 for 1 special, I would guess the number would be even?
