ScarletRose:I think she tried that.  I thought Black Rooks could open three fellowships but I couldn't do a third so I gave the FS to her temporarily.  Then I opened a fs (as a test) deleted it and now she can't return Daisy.  Odd but I tried to open a new fs on a hunch and it wouldn't let me even though I currently only have one.  So I dunno what's up. ;)

Vikings: Except that the poll results are public.  If I were to post an offensive poll result on a public board it would be moderated.  Why?  Because the board is public.  The fact that polls are created in private fellowships is no excuse to allow for abuse of other members and be able to get away with it.  Again, the results are NOT private.  And the polls to which DamCat is referring serves to illustrate this point.  I could raise a huge stir if I were to post certain poll questions in my private fellowship.  Why?  Because the results could be seen by all.  That fact alone is all that matters.

coan.net:It could be a good addition to Brainking if we could have a game where  we shoot the dragon and then it can't load on our computer for the day.  We get 3 shots and if we miss with 3, or don't kill it but only wound it, a second dragon appears.  Just for the day of course.

is there a grace period for timing out on games or do they time out exactly when time runs out?

There are plenty of other high-quality fellowships on BrainKing (check out Mad Monkey's) that offer great tourneys and fun chat. Don't let the few sour the good things the many contribute to this site :)

anastasia:  I quit using IE long ago.  Safari is very fast once you get it loaded.  It's faster than Firefox but I think Firefox has better protection safeguards.  Anyway you slice it, IE is no where near as good as a few other browsers (like Firefox).

Modified by Papa Zoom (24. August 2008, 22:34:15)
Fencer:  Maybe pawns should have a strict limit per month on how many tourneys they can create (like 1 - hehe)  ;)  and the rest of us have a limit too.  There's always fellowship tourneys to create and those can remain unlimited.  I keep my tourney creation down because there are so many already it seems pointless to add to the already huge numbers.

Just a thought but perhaps creating a tourney should only be a privilege of membership.  :)

And maybe if tourneys don't fill up by the deadline they should just automatically be zapped.

Fencer:   What I mean is that when they go to my profile page there is no link to my photos (but there is if I set it to public).  But now I have included a link at the bottom of my profile page and those on my selected list should be able to see it from that.  I'm guessing that's the proper way to set it up.  :)
