I bet those questions have been already asked, but... in my opinion, Brainking should have the possibility to take back last move, as in Kurnik (of course, if both players agree with it), such as the possibility to re-instate the game lost for time-out (once again, depending to both players agreement). Don't you think?
Fencer, is this a possibility in the future?

One question: in a pond (run around the pond) an opponent has 0 points for the current round. If I use 1 point will I fall to the pond? The next to the last player has 41 points...

I just had a message about a finished game report, and it didnt show my change in BKR like it normally does? It was a game my opponent timed out on, I dont know if that is what is different from other reports that tell me the change in my BKR?

the auction thingy appears to be working...would you consider doing a "bit" on the side and opening a mini "ebay" for members to sell useless/junk/heirlooms/ etc....seems like it could be an extra "income" for you....it would keep people honest being under a threat of "banned" if they didnt pay etc, and could give us something interesting to talk about for the next few years LOLOLOL

Dolittle: The other possibility is that earlier in the day, they already "timed out" on other games and the vacation day has already been taken. (At midnite Czech time). So of course an additional vacation day isn't taken for each individual game.

You mean if their time runs out and they go back to having 24 hours to play, no vacation days are used? I thought that is what vacation days was for.

Fencer: Maybe a FAQ or a blog entry should be posted about how AutoPass works, and when it doesn't and stuff like that. Seems like there's still too many questions about it.
And while you're at it, maybe extend it to the rest of the games. I'm tired of passing at Ludo and having to go through a series of forced moves at Anti-Chess when the outcome is already obvious...

Vikings: doesn't the auto pass here work only when there is no possible move to make? regardless of the dice?

That is not correct. That was my initial thought as well, but it turn out that fencer made it to auto pass any time when a person cannot move, and he changed it so the dice are rolled directly after a persons turn instead of when the player who's turn it is goes to the game. So in an auto pass game, if I "move and stay here" I will see my opponents next dice already. ( not sure if the same is true for non auto pass games though)

Anyway, in my game the auto pass should have ping ponged us back and forth, with neither of us seeing the game until one of us had a move, and that did not happen!

joshi tm: Are you saying it is impossible for both players to have to pass?

If so, it is possible.

Lets say I have 2 men on my bar, and I'm able to bring 1 man out - which puts my opponents pieces on the bar - now both of us have a piece on the bar that may be trapped for a few turns.

Here is a new one I havent heard about.

In an auto pass backgammon game both my opponent and myself could not make a move on consecutive turns. He auto passed back to me, but I did not auto pass back to him, I had to click to pass my next turn?

is this a bug or is it planned to not auto pass every time in an auto pass game?

Fencer: Well, a candlelight dinner in a good restaurant, or the opera would be considered.

But as for things here, I can't think of any. I've never seen the point of fellowships (as far as I understand them, the only thing they allow you to do you cannot do otherwise on Brainking is team tournaments - but I don't fancy playing them). As for tournaments and games, if I want to play more tournaments or games, I do know how the 'Tournaments', 'Waiting games' and 'New game' pages work. No need to invite me.

Fencer: What would you say you would like this extension to do.
Presumably run on the status-bar, obviously it will log itself into a person account once set with the relevant details.
It will display number of games / ponds waiting, time till next game times out & any invites waiting.
Anything else to start with? maybe messages in box ?
I guess once logged in it can display anything hmmmmm
I will give it a go, i downloaded the Firefox extension stuff and tried months ago when hexkid was still here. Give me something to pass my time
