it's very interesting and i can't wait for it to be continued, i'm here since nov.2 2002, that's almost the beginning, and it's fun looking back. BK has surely come a long way. Fencer and Liquid have done a great job. ty for a great site.

The position (ranking) takes a little bit longer to update. It will.

I have a feeling there is something wrong with the Line of Action Ratings:

Order Player BKR Counted games
30. Ugo 1564 42 (31/0/11)
31. MIHEL 1492 94 (43/1/50)
32. MadMonkey 1578 37 (21/2/15)
33. KARA 1501 59 (28/0/31)
34. fanciann 1476 78 (42/0/38)

I only noticed this because i am playing MIHEL in a tournament. He has a lower BKR, but is rated high than me.
WHY???

BIG BAD WOLF: I'm sure his membership was due to run out in 2009 before he broke the 10k.

And according to what was said on the BK.cz board, only the first person to break it is entitled to the special prize, whatever it is...

furbster: Well I noticed that the person's membership runs out in 2009 - but I'm not sure if it was like that before, or if a special prize was a couple year membership or something.

Another question is if someone else breaks 10,000, will they get the prize also or was it only for the first?

I don't think he did say what it would be, maybe it'll be annouced at the end of this month. It sure would be cool to know what he won.

Did Fencer ever say what the special prize was for the one who did break the 10,000 moves in 1 day was since it was done a couple of days ago?

nightmagic: off topics can be posted on general chat, or on the members only board

some off topic is allowed of course .. as long as originated from a real topic and doesnt go too far off topic and doesnt fill the whole board by itself ;)

Subject: Sorting the games in the play list.
OK, some weeks ago something happened with my settings for my games in my play list. I did not change anything myself, it just was that way all of a sudden. I can't change it back so I am asking what I can do, if I can do anything.

The problem I am having is that my games were first sorted after how much time is left before it times out, the one which would time out first was at the top and then the second game to time out etc. All of a sudden all my games were just about "thrown in the list" with no logic behind at all. I tried changing it back in Settings but all I get is that I can sort the games by time left but they are sorted also by game type so I still have games that are soon to time out in the middle of the list. Is there any way I can change this?

nightmagic: I'm speaking of an all chat, no matter the interest but it as a board all can read as to get what is not cleariffide on any other board, to reach the 80 + members as they play there games and don't get to all specified boards in the day to get day news. AS in all other game sites do have all as in other board.

brainking itself is not it's self without the players,it's structure depends on it's players. features and future are also covered on other boards. I see lot's of things that could be covered on this board but are told off topic!

imsoaddicted: Well its different to what it used to say, BUT i do not think you should have to put something like that in your profile.
When you play any game on a turned based game site, you follow the stipulations set within the game invite or Tournament. In other words you have 'x' ammount of time to play your move. No one should have the right to then change those stipulations UNLESS for a very legitimate reason, and if they start getting nasty about it that is worse and as you have done nothing wrong, they should be reported to one of the Administrators.
Thats my opinion, but i believe its the right one !
