Subject: Novakill - Kill everyone
Australian electro duo Novakill deliver the follow-up to their 2002 debut "Hard Tech For A Hard World". "Kill Everyone" builds up on the bands strengths, delivering a stronger, more focussed album : a fine mix of hard, strong dancefloor tracks and slower dark songs. Classic, hard EBM inspired by the halcyon days of the early 90's with hard production values, mixed and mastered especially for the dancefloor ! Bonus data components includes software synthesisers and desktop themes plus an amazing cover of Sisters of Mercy "Alice".

Subject: Rotersand new single
Continuing the phenomenal rise of electro superstars Rotersand ( now signed to the German Dependent label ) brand new single "Exterminate Annihilate Destroy" continues the band's exploration of sophisticated lyrical themes and intelligent electro arrangements. Rotersand illustrate that music and current events can coincide without the results being too coarse or heavy-handed. With new single "Exterminate Annihilate Destroy" they provide an intriguing preview of new album "Welcome To Goodbye", due for release in June 2005.

For all fans of pure, hard electro dance / industrial : X-FUSION are back ! The third album from this one man industrial army dives into the depths of black atmospheres and dark moods : with "Demons Of Hate" the spectacular follow up to pure dance / industrial bechmarks " Dial D for Demons" and "Beyond the Pale", X-Fusion harnesses the sound of the approaching apocalypse, widening the evolution of the well known X-Fusion sound with innovative ideas and sound solutions...Frightening, dark, catchy, melodic and aggressive are a few adjectives that fit this classic release ! Likely to become one of THE highlights in dark electro this year "Demons Of Hate" is a MUST HAVE for all fans of Hocico, The Retrosic, Suicide Comando and similar acts - an album full of potential club-hits and hard dancefloor detonations ! Recommended !

Subject: Best synth pop act...
A real phenomenon in the electro / future pop scene, NamNamBulu have developed into one of the most successful bands of the genre. Following the release of their totally infectious latest single "Alone", they strike back again with "Blinded!" a collection of remastered, long deleted, exclusive and unreleased tracks from the bands early career. Not content to simply re-release these tracks as a copy of the long out of print "Blind" EP, NamNamBulu deliver an extended maxi, mini album of 13 tracks - 7 of which are completely exclusive, previously unreleased songs or remixes !

Subject: Bruno Jesus, this is dedicated to you...
Electro - workaholic Andy LaPlegua has not been idle towards the end of the year and is now able to unleash his next musical massacre in the form of the eagerly anticipated new Combichrist album, "Everybody Hates You". Not content with delivering his incendiary musical outpourings on one single disc, this trip into the nether regions of dark electro spills over onto a BONUS 9 track second disc - diving headfirst into the depths of the dark side of human nature. On CD1 we find a musical martyrdom of thudding beats, head-splitting sequences and distorted, aggressive vocals delivered in the best EBM tradition. Complete with provocative and stirring samples this is an album that is not for the faint of heart or easily disturbed : featuring dark excursions into the human psyche from the computerised drone of "I Am A Whore" with another track delivering the names of prominent serial killers to the background of an industrial machine-gun-beat staccato. Musically, combines the hard-dance side of techno with the sweaty aggression of EBM and the twisted aural torture of industrial to his very own Combichrist-style. While the first part of this musical opus seems destined for the dance floor, as the thunderstorm of rhythm, sweat und mechanical inferno does not break for the entire duration of CD 1, on CD2, "Everybody Hates You" shows a seemingly different face. Decidedly ambient, Combichrist lure the listener into the false belief that they are now in for a chill out after being through hell and high water. The more one tends to follow this lead, the more one gradually notices that this is also just another facet of the same face. By then it's already too late - as you are indoctrinated into the subversive electronic darkness of CombiChrist. Like needle atonalities and elements of sonic torture assimilating the brain, the electro-horror of "Everybody Hates You" concentrates the musical madness into an all encompassing and murderous sound-wall that cannot be escaped...Truly Hardcore.

Subject: Re: Taste vs. Quality
EIHN:

Ancient arguments why? For instance, I don´t like Madonna, neither like Britney Spears. But while Britney is crap, Madonna is doing great music and great performances. I wouldn´t mind seeing a Madonna´s gig, while I would pay not to see a Britney´s gig. Not a question of taste, only quality (or lack of it)...

And you´re being quite radical when you say that most of the music after the 70's is no good. There still is being made great music nowadays. But you have to discover it. Not in the tops, MTV awards, Brit awards, etc., of course, since bands only get there, not for their quality, but for their commercial exposure.

Go to this site of a portuguese band(http://madredeus.mind.pt/entrada.asp), ear some samples, and then tell me if it´s bad...

27. December 2004, 17:12:57

Of course our age is relationed with our music listens. Why, in the 80's, early 90's you were just hearing metal?

And why, nowadays, you are on the electro scene?

27. December 2004, 17:07:29
Andre Faria
I have been in a music school for about ten years, but I´m not a musician. But I have improved my musical taste, and I can recognize a bad, from a good band. Even im my favorite style of music, there are bad and good bands. Even my favourite bands have some albuns that I can say that is trash (usual their last albuns, more commercial)...

Bruno, that´s your problem. You just hear to 2/3 kinds of music. All other kinds are bad. For instance, I don´t like Metallica, but they have some very good albuns. Or Motorhead...

27. December 2004, 16:58:00
Andre Faria
EIHN: it´s your oppinion. It is relationed with our age. Don´t know yours, but I suspect you must be older than I. I started to hear music in the 80's. New age and post-punk music, that was what everybody were hearing in the 80's. That´s why I´m very fond at this kind of music. Nowadays there are great bands, but not at MTV or in the TOPS.

Bruno, you´re just a child in the 80´s. I´ve to teach you about good music (as usual, and everyone knows about that)...

27. December 2004, 16:40:16
Andre Faria
In the early 90's there was a 60´s revival, with the Madchester, drugs, and all those neo-hippies bands (Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral carpets, etc.). In this century, so far, there is an 80's revival, with all those retro bands. I´m not seeing in the next decade having an 90´s revival...

27. December 2004, 16:26:08
Andre Faria
EIHN: don´t say that. The 80's were the best decade for music... Joy Division, New Order, B-52's were on your list...

27. December 2004, 16:23:59
Andre Faria
Depeche Mode is a great band. Personal Jesus, Never let me down again, Stripped, among others, are still classic...

27. December 2004, 16:21:42
Andre Faria
EIHN:

Well, I must be a clown... Why are you talking to me again? Have I been uncivilized? Just read the posts... I think you must be a little puzzled about who is who... Hide me if you want, but I have the right to reply to bruno in the same terms he have replied to me.

"Andre: You don't understand a thing about Metallica!Saying that "Kill 'em All" is crossover between Metal and punk reveals your total ignorance of the band,in particular, and music in general...if you don't know what you're talking about just shut up!
The best Metallica album ever made was "...and justice for all" their 4th record!"

This was his first message and I never have refered to him in my messages.

And yes, there is censorship at this board. Every message that not goes into your personal tastes are banned or, at least, criticized, like you´ve done to Rose´s message about the Kill 'em all album. Why wasn´t your message hided, like you´ve done to some of my messages criticizing Britney Spears (the so-called plastic music).

Bruno, just listen to the new God Module album and then you can talk to me... :)

27. December 2004, 16:01:28
Andre Faria
Anyway, who were talking about plastic music? Since when, Metallica is plastic music?

Bruno, you´re just a child. I was already listening to good music while you were on the pre-school. Rammstein is good, even being the last album (reise) weaker than the others... But their lyrics are still excellent... Just listen to Amerika... Ministry were a good band until Psalm 69. Their last albuns are very bad, indeed... NIN, KMFDM and bands like these were just for american people... You still have much to learn...

27. December 2004, 15:10:28
