Subject: Solitary Experiments
German trio Solitary Experiments first new studio output for more than a year : "Mind Over Matter", has them delivering their personal masterpiece. The eloquently weaved melodic tapestry of their songs are presented in huge arrangements - on a direct course to the hearts and minds of electro fans everywhere. Musical maturity spreads throughout all of the albums tracks - fresh, invigorating dancefloor electro infused with addictive melodies, driving synth lines and burning sequences...

From the song "Delight" ( recently unveiled on the fifth instalment of the popular compilation series "Awake the Machines" ) - a perfect representation of the entire album : there is hardly a melodic electro tune from the past few months that has so clearly written the phrase "Floor Filler" all over it - a devilishly beautiful song that will have fans humming its addictive chorus / melody for ages. Though putting a high focus on the melodic aspect of their songs, Solitary Experiments never make the mistake of retreating to softened up banality, taking care to attire their tracks with booming bass beats that delve into hard EBM territories and synthpop / future pop influences with thick sequences and driving analogue leads to the fore. As an extra-added fan Bonus, "Mind Over Matter" comes complete with a second CD featuring a set of the group's best and most successful tunes all delivered in exclusive live versions. New fans, who might have just discovered the group after listening to the compulsive "Delight", thereby receive a nice introduction into the band's oeuvre, whereas old followers will be delighted to receive Solitary Experiment's first ever live album as a bonus.

Subject: The Frozen Autumn
After a wait of nearly three years - released at last, the long awaited Brand New album from The Frozen Autumn. "Is Anybody There?" presents 10 brand new tracks including contributions from both Ronny Moorings ( CLAN OF XYMOX ) and Sven Wolff ( DUST OF BASEMENT ) with each remixing a new TFA track ( "Ashes" and "Polar Plateau" respectively ). From a stylistic perspective "Is Anybody There?" oscillates sonically between their albums "Emotional Screening Device" and "Pale Awakening" with gothic tenderness giving way to fragile exquisite melodies, deft electro acoustics and beguiling arrangements.

Subject: Decoded Feedback
After a break of nearly two years Out Of Line electro specialists Decoded Feedback return with possibly their most cohesive album ever. "Combustion" sees DF's machinery of destruction once again set in motion - a distrorted clamour of powered-up electronic anthems powering through 12 purging electro assaults. Hardfloor, U.S. Dance / Industrial, Breakbeats and hard, caustic EBM mingle to an unstoppable electro groove set to devastate all in its path : a mutated, destructive, electro avalanche set to unite fans of Hocico and Skinny Puppy, Suicide Commando and Ministry. "Combustion" also includes a cover of the classic Mentallo & the Fixer track "Sacrilege" and a video for the potential hit-song "Hyberia".

Subject: Iris
Pure quality : Almost two years after the European release of their last hit album "Awakening", US electro-pop sensations Iris return with their eagerly awaited third regular studio album "Wrath". With ten, simply stunning electro / synthpop hymns - that set new standards in melodic, expressive and uptempop electronic songs, Iris proove that they are operating on another level altogether. "Wrath" is simply a masterpiece of electronic pop music, updating and building upon the glories of its predecessors "Disconnect", "Reconnect" and "Awakening". With powerful, unstoppable and ultra-catchy songs such as "No One Else To Lose", "Appetite", "Hell's Coming With Me" and "Guide On Raging Stars" there are at least 4 potential hit-singles on this album and make "Wrath" an absolute MUST HAVE for all fans of Mesh, Camouflage, Depeche Mode etc...

Subject: Regenerator
At last, REGENERATOR resurfaces with their highly anticipated 7th full-length cd, "Disease". Inspired by both personal and universal experiences, "Disease" is an emotionally charged album, charting new territories into foreboding atmospheres and pulsating rhythms of epidemic proportions. With the release of "Disease", REGENERATOR sharply focuses on animal consumption and its affect on human health. The duo doesn't want to "push" such issues on anyone, they only wish to make the facts known and to let you decide for your own… Dancefloor hits like "Organism", "Death", "Apnea" and "Airbourne" will immediately contaminate the club-goers while slower and deeper moments will conquer the darker souls amongst us reaching new emotional heights on the title-song "Disease" (a must for all fans of the good old THE CURE late 80’s era!), the somber video for "Terrible Love" (directed by Ezequiel - core member of Broken Pictures - formerly Burning Glass Pictures) and the old classic cover of "Don't Fear The Reaper".

Subject: Stromkern
Hot on the heels of their successful latest single ( "Stand Up" - a high chart entry in the German DAC charts ) Stromkern return with a hard hitting whirlwind of electronic mutilations, intoxicating beats and the occasional driving guitar. "Light It Up", picks up where its predecessor left off and showcases a more advanced Stromkern. Stellar tracks such as "Stand Up", "Klang", "Sentinel" and "Forgiven" lead the new assault and assure Stromkern's role as one of the new pioneers of the American electro scene. "Light It Up" also features guest appearances from Frank Spinath of Seabound and Victoria Lloyd of HMB, Monochrome and Claire Voyant and the album marks a triumphant return of this much underrated project. "Light It Up" has all the ingredients to become a major success among industrial fans with its perfect 10 track mixture of high-energy, club-ready anthems for the electro dancefloor !

Subject: Conjure One
The Brand New album from Rhys Fulber's ( Delerium, Front Line Assembly etc ) Conjure One project. Having built a strong worldwide fan base with his awesome debut - solo self titled album ( Released in 2003 ), Fulber returns in August with a brand new album entitled "Extraordinary Ways". As with his debut, "Extraordinary Ways" features vocal performances by several female singers while musically it is a blend of lush synth textures, atmospheric, haunting melodies and driving electronic rhythms. However, whereas the first album drew its principal inspiration from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern musics, Fulber explains that "these songs are more about life and experiences this time, rather than visions and landscapes. "Conjure One" was more of a Middle Eastern travelogue, while "Extraordinary Ways" is more of an internal journey". For the first time in his career, the new album sees Fulber on vocal duties, delivering a unique modern take on the oft-neglected Buzzcocks classic "I Believe". Two singers from the first Conjure One album also return in the form of Poe ( on tracks "Endless Dream", "One Word" and "Extraordinary Way" ) and Chemda Kalili ( on the track "Forever Lost" ), while new vocalist collaborators are Tiff Lacey ( on "Face The Music" ) and Joanna Stevens ( on "Dying Light" ). The London based composer Chris Elliott also returns to assist with string arrangements.

Subject: Funker Vogt
Electro Legends Funker Vogt - Germanic, Teutonic and utterly emeshed in the pervasive topic of combat and war-torn subject matter return with brand new album "Navigator ". Taking its cue from lead single "Fallen Hero", this new album sees them fixing their crosshairs firmly on the dancefloor with a mixture of political insight fused with their bombastic, pumping electro - with tracks such as "Friendly Fire", "Rejects" and "Stronghold" delivering that patented euphoric Funker Vogt sound - an avalanche of direct, melodic electro anthems, rousing choruses and pummeling synthetic basslines. Elsewhere more personal and direct songs such as "The End", "House Of Sorrows", "No Tomorrow" and "For You" show a diverse and welcome edge to Funker Vogt - always melodic, but with slightly more complex arrangements ( even utilising intensified guitar on tracks "Forward!", "Starfighters" and "No Tomorrow" ) and positive sound elements attatched to their driving structures. A must for all fans and newcommers too - " Navigator" opens a new era for Funker Vogt, one that sees them taking their patented sound into new areas while still retaining their core philosophy.

Subject: OVNI
Described by O.V.N.I themselves as "Tek-Pop tunes for dancing humanoids" and following their recent dancefloor Maxi "Good For You", "Objet Volant Non Identifié" - their stunning debut album comes as a recommended discovery to all fans of Covenant, Haujobb, Colony 5, Seabound, Statemachine etc. O.V.N.I. ( side project of London-based electro beat / dance pop act Seize ) venture to the dark side of the human psyche with a brooding but upbeat combination of twisted beats and bone crunching basslines. This time with Steven taking the lead vocals and Sandrine and Rosie being joined on keyboard duties by 4th member Jessie. With vocal comparisons to Eskil Simonsson ( Covenant ) and Phil Oakey ( Human League ) and musically likened to the bastard child of Daniel Myer ( Haujobb ) and Aphex Twin, O.V.N.I. universally defy categorisation. Call it future pop ! Call it EBM dance ! Call it break beat IDM ! Yet another great signing for the Alfa Matrix label !
