(16/03 2008 06:51:05) UzzyLady: My Tehran HS has an all school reunion every four years at different places around the US. It's the only one I care about, but had to miss it this year. Just couldn't justify the expense
(16/03 2008 06:49:13) Nickel: I was in Oregon for the 10 year... and missed it, but heard some great stories... I won't miss the next one, tho I might have to wait till 25.
(16/03 2008 06:47:46) UzzyLady: If your school does have a reunion, you won't have too far to go to attend. That's nice
(16/03 2008 06:47:16) UzzyLady: It was hard, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. For one thing it led me to where I met txaggie
(16/03 2008 06:46:33) Nickel: Some would say that's not easy... But I would say that made you who you are today.
(16/03 2008 06:44:56) UzzyLady: I ended up at 3 different high schools, Tehran, Woodlawn, and Ft. Worth, TX
(16/03 2008 06:44:10) Nickel: Reston. South Lakes HS.
(16/03 2008 06:42:53) UzzyLady: Where did you graduate from HS in VA?
(16/03 2008 06:40:11) Nickel: Cool! I'm not sure if my highschool class is going to have a 20 year renuion, but it's this year.
(16/03 2008 06:36:14) UzzyLady: Not there. Most of my friends were Americans. I'm part of the alumni assoc so I keep it touch with a few of them
(16/03 2008 06:35:38) Nickel: Wow! Still keep in touch with any friends there?
(16/03 2008 06:34:42) UzzyLady: I loved it. The leaving with only 48 hours notice was hard though.
(16/03 2008 06:34:21) Nickel: different.
(16/03 2008 06:34:05) Nickel: Iran in HS... that must have been something.
(16/03 2008 06:32:34) Nickel: We never moved... but all my friends came and went, as I stayed at Andrews AFB as a kid.
(16/03 2008 06:31:19) UzzyLady: Westinghouse. Worse than the military in terms of how much we moved.
(16/03 2008 06:30:51) Nickel: Military brat too?
(16/03 2008 06:30:13) UzzyLady: I was in Japan when I was 3 and spent all of Jr.High and most of HS in Iran
(16/03 2008 06:29:40) Nickel: I was born in Germany, but can't tell many storys about it, as I was 3 when we moved to Andrews.
(16/03 2008 06:28:24) UzzyLady: So you were a military brat? Any overseas postings?
(16/03 2008 06:28:03) UzzyLady: No kidding
(16/03 2008 06:27:46) Nickel: Tho I knew a spot at 10 years old, where we could throw our bikes over the fence, and sneak off and back on base... I'd be shot for that these days.
(16/03 2008 06:27:23) UzzyLady: I was a kid, but my dad worked for a civilian contractor so we were allowed to roam free
(16/03 2008 06:26:27) Nickel: I was a kid, and confined behind the fences of Andrews Air Force Base.
(16/03 2008 06:25:28) UzzyLady: Let's see, Woodlawn, Pasadena and the every popular Glen Burnie. How about you?
(16/03 2008 06:24:44) Nickel: Where in Maryland did you suffer? I mean... Live?
(16/03 2008 06:21:44) UzzyLady: hee hee
(16/03 2008 06:21:31) Nickel: Absolutely! (oop's, thats 10 letter word if I spelled it right!)
(16/03 2008 06:19:57) UzzyLady: Yep, I grew up with it, gotta scratch that itch every now and then
(16/03 2008 06:19:32) Nickel: Nice... Gotta have travel and adventure!
