Ewe:  No, I hadn't heard of her.  She is quite a high energy performer, isn't she?  Thanks for letting me know about her.

I have heard of Anuradha Pal  She was on NPR's Morning Edition a few weeks ago  There is lots of her on YouTube, but here she is with an
all-female percussion ensemble.

Radiant2007 :-):  We do not require you to be here.  Go rest and take care of that headache.  We only require that you be healthy, and stay with us for a long long time.  I'll be dying in about 20 years, and I want you to be around when I go.  You have to sing.

Jim Dandy: A vegetarian fight song? Is it for fighting non-vegetarians? Or is it about fighting veggies? In this corner, we have, at 1 pound 12 ounces in the bright green trunks, CELERY!!

And, in THIS corner, we have in the red trunks The Rotten TOMATO!!!

Before you watch this one, click on more and read what you're supposed to be doing while you're listening to it.  You'll be surprised at who all is there.  And, yes, I can see the rodeo grounds from my back window.  The ESPN thower flashes in the night.

Yesterday (30th September) was the 40th Anniversary of the launch
of BBC Radio One and
BBC Radio Two

On the same day BBC Radio 3 changed it's name from BBC Third Programme (started on 29th September 1946) .
Also on the same day, 30th September 1967, BBC Radio 4 replaced the Home Service.

This was the first song broadcast on BBC Radio One (Tony Blackburn was the disk jockey)
The Move ~ Flowers in the Rain.
