Eriisa:  I have never denied my memory is defective.  But, some would say it's excellent, including the doctors at Southwest Medical School.  It's just there is so much stuff piled in there, it's hard to find things.  I specifically do NOT remember shooting any sheriffs.  Snakes in the grass, maybe, but not sheriffs.  (Refers her friend to The Motorcycle Song.)

Quick reads through her messages with Eriisa.

I'm a Texan, and we shoot anything that moves, you know?  But, not only did I not shoot the deputy, I didn't shoot no sheriff neither.

Oooooooooo, now I remember.  I figured it had to do with company bidness.

Jim Dandy:  I guess you're right about that.  I just don't like liking men who abuse women, that's all.  But, how can you not love Jerry Lee?  Is it the curse of the creative?  Somehow, I can't put those two in the same file.

For whoever it was who didn't know who Arlo Guthrie was/is, this is for you.  "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" is the second link (almost 20 minutes of hilarity), and this is the one that made me laugh tonight for the first time since this afternoon.

TexasToest: I love the double bass drum action in the song. It's funny when he expects the audience to sing the verse and there is silence, but Tokyo audiences were demanded to stay in their seats and quietly listen back then, not sure if they've relaxed the rules in recent years.........OOPS,almost forgot.I'm a big fan of Jery Lee Lewis's country phase back in the late 60's early 70's,sadly it isn't remebered by many. Here is Jerry doing a fine gospal tune,no,that's not Link of The Mod Squad singing backup
