What a beautiful image Italy showed us yesterday at the Rink Hockey European Cup... 4-0 against Austria... Humbug...

Today, at the end of the first half, Portugal 12 - Austria 0.

Even Gazzeta Dello Sport considered that game as a lie... Why do italians have to be cheaters all the time and at every game?

How 'bout them Angels? Seven wins in a row. 12 of the last 13. A couple more and they might move into first place. It's too bad they started this run in last place, but at least they have started to win. Them losses were getting depressing. Especially after last year's first place finish.

I've been watching the Toronto Blue Jays games on Roger Sports Network while here in Alberta. They've been doing very well too. Lots of extra inning victories. I'm happy to see them defeating the Western Division rivals of the Angels. They swept Seattle on over the weekend and beat Texas last night. They'll have their hands full when they start a four game series with Yankees on Thursday. Go Jays! :) Go Angels!

But you have to admit that Portugal - Holland was quite entertaining... We were making bets about when the match was going to end due to any of the teams ran out of players on the pitch...

Well done, Italy...

I didn't want France to win the penalty shoot-out because of two "things" - Zidane and the French "fans" who were whistling at the Italian players. That was disgusting. Now I hope Zidane isn't awarded the MVP of the tourney.

I have been reading recently that FIFA are now considering having 2 referees on the pitch during international games. What are peoples thoughts on this. I hear they have already done trials with it, with not very good feedback. What are your views on this???
