Subject: Yankees versus Angels starting today
Cleveland spanked them hard yesterday 14-2. Hopefully they'll play better against New York in the four game series. They're going to need to. The season is starting to near the end and they're 3½ games behind Oakland. They haven't much chance for the wild card, so they'll need to take the division to make the playoffs. Two rookie starting pitchers and a few more on the field, I guess I should feel lucky they're even in the pennant race.

true..a quality running back is the best pick at #3..

awesome: I would certainly look at LJ, LT perhaps, Tiki Barber, and Shaun Alexander. Manning is a bit of a risk that high. Look for worse fantasy numbers than last year since defenses will drop back even more.

Jim Dandy:

Larry Johnson never played for Denver!!!!.... his 3 years as a pro have been with K.C....last year he had 1750 yds. at a 5.2yd per carry avg. with 20 TDs, only 5 fumbles in 330+ carries...definetely the #1 player to take in a fantasy league based on stats and now playing with a new coach (Herman Edwards) who relies on the run game....

Well i was looking at the big 3 LT, LJ, and Alexander. Im in a high bonus league. standard scoring withthe following bonuses ...20 pt bonus for a td over 60 yds, 15 pt bonus over 40, 10pt over 25yds, adn 5pts over 11yds. my passing bonuses are pretty much the same. also I get 1 pt for every reception. Qbs get 1 pt for every 25yds upto 249yds, and anythign over 249 is 2pts and over 300 yds its 3pts and over 400 pts 4pts. our average scores are 190-150. I know the leagues scoring system has a lot to do with who you pick. im reluctant to go with alexander and LJ if he loses his main lineman. and also LT is hurting. this is an 8 team league i may keep steve smith as my keeper since i picked him up as a late rd pick(6th rd) last year.

Very nice to see it not get too much media attention - no point in rewarding people like this with what they want.

The back 9 was brilliant, jsut gutted for him now.

Anyway if u would like to follow Mark's progress throughout the rest of the season, then log onto www.europeantour.com. He is currently back on the challenge tour, but ranked 10th he is sure to get his card for the euro tour next season.
