Sad news indeed, I use to see the game on Eurosport, and Paul Hunter was one of the players that I most like to see.

Well was evident that there was contact between the french defender and Ronaldo too. You want to go in that direction? I don't deny that Ricardo touch Henry, but He didn't fall because of that, he fell because he trip on the grass. And if you pay attention to your electronic zooming you can see that Henry was worried about the whistle because he thought he was getting a yellow card for tricking the referee, and bye bye final. Instead he won a penalty and the final to the World Cup.

Nevertheless I want to say that it was a very good match, and it wasn't for the referee that Portugal lost. Congrats to France and I wish they beat the Italians, because any team with Gatuso in it deserves to lose.

"And by the way, you should learn to spell better. Ghana is spelled like this. Sit in front of the tube watching the game and didn't even learn to spell the name of one of the teams? Why am I wasting my time?"

Well a typical american attitude, you should know that other cultures exists and Estados Unidos da America its another form to write USA. Gana its absolutely correct and you should loose some time in studying, before you start to complain...
Yeap world its not only America, thanks for that! :-)

Well funny draw to us Portuguese because we are going to be the godfather of the newcomer Angola. Which we were relately in the past. Just one wish that the last game between Portugal and Angola doesn't repeat it ever! The game didn't finish it because there wasn't enough Angola players.

Besides that a warning to the Czeck Republic, be careful with USA ;-) We weren't on our last world cup! :-(

So my favourites are:
A: Germany and Poland
B: England and Sweden
C: Argentia and Netherlands
D: Portugal and Mexico
E: Italy and Czeck Republic
F: Brazil and Australia
G: France and Switzerland
H: Spain and Ukraine

Thats the funny, Rijkaard didn't play but was on contract with Sporting, just before he went to Italy.

It was no coicidence, I know its dutch! I have good dutch friends, because of Frisian Checkers and International ones. Yes dutch are the Best players! ;-)

Well Sporting had dutch football players, Rijkaard was one of that players believe it or not but never put the shirt on. HeHeHehehehe
The other one was Stan Valckx. Pretty good defender.

I better ignore Andre for meantime! :-)

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting
Till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
Cause we are the champions of the World

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it
I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before
The whole human race
And I ain't gonna lose

And we mean to go on and on and on and on

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting
Till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
Cause we are the champions of the World

Europeans Champions FC Porto (and my team) get their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League in thrilling style with victory against Chelsea FC, while Arsenal FC and Werder Bremen also ensured berths in the first knockout round.

GROUP E
Arsenal claimed top spot in Group E with a 5-1 triumph against Rosenborg BK. Arsenal and PSV finished level on ten points, but the London club took first place given their superior head-to-head record following a 1-0 win against the Dutch team. Well done Gunners and Electric team! :-)

GROUP F
AC Milan's 0-0 draw away to Celtic FC proved enough to win Group F. Milan and Barcelona were ensured qualification at kick-off.

GROUP G
Valencia CF and Bremen were competing to qualify along with FC Internazionale Milano, and it was the German champions, needing only a draw, who prevailed thanks to two late goals. Inter matched their Milanese rivals by winning the group.

GROUP H
On a night of high drama in this pool, European champions Porto joined group winners Chelsea in the first knockout round after coming from a goal down to beat the Londoners. Thanks to Benni McCarthy's (HEYYYYYYYYY BENNY) late strike in a 2-1 victory, Porto did not become the first holders to exit in the group stage (Thank God!). The result also meant heartbreak for PFC CSKA Moskva who were pushed into third despite beating Paris Saint-Germain FC 3-1 at the Parc des Princes with a Sergei Semak hat-trick - the Russian side were provisionally in second place until McCarthy's 86th-minute goal (YEAP, and we were out of Uefa too, when we were loosing...). CSKA at least qualify for the UEFA Cup, some reward for a battling performance that saw them score twice after being reduced to ten men by Deividas Semberas's 54th-minute dismissal (Unbelievable, anyone see the Paris match?). PSG - who held second position at kick-off.

Today we make history! For the first time in the Portuguese Football, one Team has draw at Home of Real Madrid in Santiago Barnabéu Stadium. First Goal was from Real, but still in first part we draw with a penalty Kick from Derlei. In the Second Half the best chance was ours, again Derlei with the goal open, misses... :-( But Vitor Baia (Goal Keeper of Porto) did the best defense of the night! At the end and to the history
Real Madrid - 1 F C Porto - 1
