The FA Cup is an English cup competition.

The Champions League is a competition between the league winners (and the other top teams) from each European country.
This season's final, between Liverpool and AC Milan is tonight.

I would like to say well done to Arsenal on winning the FA Cup final (5-4 on penalties).
Even as a supporter i have to admit we did not really deserve to win the game, BUT at the end of the day you have to score goals to win, and they scored 5 LOL..............

He is just one piece of the sucess. He have chosen well the players (as usual).

Just look at Porto last year, and this year. Last year won everything. This year, spent even more money on players, and lost everything (or almost, as the portuguese league only ends next Saturday).

Players like Derlei, Maniche, Costinha, Nuno Valente, just become ordinary players withou Mourinho. How do you explain that?

How do you explain that, Anders?
I think the answer is as clear as daylight: They didn't have Mourinho... or Mourinho enchanted them....

And what about Real Madrid? The team who have more "galatic" players and lost everything...

Well, it usually does not happen that one of the teams that made it to the finals had the advantage of playing at their own pitch. The place where the final match will be played is determined before the season starts, so even if AZ had defeated Sporting, they would still have played CSKA in Lisbon.

question : i expected this to be a 2 game match as well .. out as well as at home .. why isnt this done for the finals as well as it was for the matches before it ?

Hrqls: We remember too well the death of Miklas Feher last year. Everybody was watching the game in television (Benfica-Guimarães), and suddenly he fell off and died. The camera was pointing to him and showed him felling off with a smile in his face and the other players trying to reanimate him. He was hungarian, but supporters from all clubs, including the rivals Porto and Sporting went to Benfica´s stadium to give one last homage to this kid. It was very sad... Just some months later another Benfica´s player, with 18 years, died just after the match.

sporting can be dangerous ... my uncle (lived in new zealand) played football (or soccer, i dont remember, its 15 yars ago) ... he scored ... screamed with joy .. fell down on the field .. and didnt move again ... people thought he made a joke (including his wife) .. as he often did ... but after some time it seemed it was for real .. a heart attack as well .. after that all his brothers had to go to the hospital for heart exams

it makes a sad match even more sad ;)
