Subject: IYT Tournaments
In games like checkers and chess the IYT tournaments are fine until you get to the final round. There you often find two programmers left standing and as most people know when one program plays another you can get 25 draws. IYT won't declare a winner and keeps generating endless final matches..and it can go on for years. LOL.

Fencer: On many public boards for specific games people use it for a chat room to practice social skills entirely unrelated to the purpose of the board. While harmless in itself it is usually of zero interest to people who go to read about the game. It is difficult for the moderator to tell them to stop without looking like a bad guy. This board is probably not even the place to bring this up but it is connected in a way with what Rod and Bry are saying. Maybe in a distant way. LOL

playBunny: I would like to see a persons game of choice when pulling up their pro instead having to look at finished games. It would come in handy when inviting people to a tournament or even to a single game.

AD has a definition of a sandbag closer to what I understand. It is an artificially low rating used to trap a higher rated player. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

I posted a link to a checker tournament on Checkers DB and it went up fine. I tried to post the exact same link on Tournaments DB and it came back "invalid request." Are we only allowed to post an advertisement in one place?

BIG BAD WOLF: Not only that but the main team's game always appear in the tournament and you can't get rid of it. If I want a Backgammon tournament in Purple World I have to make that the main team or checkers will be the game that shows up.

BIG BAD WOLF: I agree the regular Froglet is like a life sentence without the possibility of parole. A much smaller board and an automatic end to the game when someone is too far behind to catch up mathematically.

Subject: Cloak Mode
When it was first introduced a large number of players rushed to use it but once the "two way mirror" aspect was changed only a handful of users remain. They obviously like the feature and I don't understand why that can't be respected without the vitriol a few people are demonstrating.

Up to a week ago I could make a page clickable (pond, fellowship etc) by typing the URL that I got from INFO. Now instead of the specific page I get the "Ponds" or Fellowships" page for the list of all the ponds or FS's. I used the same URL as before. Was a change made?

BIG BAD WOLF: I disagree. I like he feature and just because some BB's don't use it more prudently is no reason to discontinue it. For example I used it to send out an Easter greeting and I was able to hear from people who never post and it was good to hear they were still active. I got many personal replies.

I would like to see a feature where sent PM's could be in bold type until they are read as well as a mechanism for withdrawing unread messages. This may already have been suggested. It should not be too hard because GT has it and they are light years behind BK of course.
