Subject: How we can better promote BrainKing?
Modified by Jaak (23. February 2010, 19:34:47)
http://brainking.com/en/Brains I can read
Your promotional program URL: http://brainking.com?refuid=24622

I have noticed that for Estonians it is better URL in Estonian: http://brainking.com/ee/?refuid=24622 .
I think it will be good if we can promote BrainKing with our ID not only in English. We choose our language and then the program can give the URL.
I see that my last link don´t work through discussion board. But if you copy and set it manually or through my homepage - it works perfectly.

aNiMaL: If you open the tournament that you created then you can see Signed players and by the side of this list you see "Remove player:". It is easy to remove or exclude players but I recommend to use this droit very seldom. F.e. if you see a danger of deleting your tournament! http://brainking.com/en/ReadBug?bgi=1061 - this bug maybe not solved.
If you like fast moving players then it is better to vary your time control. I like to create my tournaments with Fischerś clock http://brainking.com/en/FAQ?ht=24 - it is good to play fast and don´t bring a timeout if you some days have not access to internet.

Can I select games for deleting now or must I wait the deadline?
ThankYouMySponsor!!!
I can mark games and there are 4 boxes for marking before "Delete tournament!"
Can I delete selected games in my tournament? Is here a danger to delete all tournaments?
It is difficult to organize tournaments of all games.

Subject: RTE problem
I have noticed that when I use RTE then my computer becomes slower.
Ad-Aware SE Personal shows 5...12 Neglitible objects MRU List.
When I remove those object, it becomes normal again.
Is here a correlation?

pauloaguia: Thank you! I looked your link: one player has in his profile "Last action: 9. August 2006, 21:09:01 - never logged in" there. We can see a lot of such never logged in referred users in BrainKing.

Subject: Referred users
I see some players have a lot of referred users and some of those have never played on the BrainKing.
I tried to get a referred user and created a new game using " Type the e-mail of the person you want to invite to BrainKing to play this game with".
I play chess with her now, but I don´t see my referred user, if I look My profile.
Is this feature throw "Send invitation" only? Is this way better?

Subject: Creating a Tournament
Modified by Jaak (19. November 2006, 05:58:15)
I see here are some unequal games where I regard necessary to have 2 games between players.
Then if I cheese Tournament type: two games (switched colors) for each two players,
I cannot change it. But now I understand what it means: if a pawn wants
to play and there are 8 players in a section then he/she must have 14
empty slots!
Then it is better to Define new tournament: one game for each two players and Match type: 2 games match. In this case the 2nd game begins after the 1st is finished and a player needed only 7 empty slots. Is it right?
Is it a reason why there are very few signed up players in the  *** Estonia! *** despite my announcement http://brainking.com/en/Board?bc=22&u=24622 and very user-friendly Fischer`s clock?
Other soft changes (decrease minimum of players, set beginning  some hours later, descriptions...) I see are possible?
