January 2004, 23:20:18 Subject: Checkers If you know a graphic artist who can make amazing checkers pieces and has a few hours to create em have him contact Fencer (remember there are 3 or 4 diff sizes that need to be made a queen an king for the diff versions too). A few of us have made sets and sent in but I dont think they were really up to par for the site. 22. January 2004, 23:41:40 Subject: Re: Checkers The fastest way to create graphics for checkers is to use an appropriate true type font. You don't need to be an artist to do this.
For example, this site has a font for checkers (costs 49$), as well as for other games like cards, shogi and chinese chess: http://www.partae.com/fonts/index.html There could also exists free fonts with checker graphics somewhere else. 22.
