Summertop: refer to Server news - the red numbers bug is covered there.

I think cariad's request (below) was designed to keep an eye on the build up of fellowships by an individual or group of people.

New features have always been an on-going thing here, Bernice, so request until your heart's content - be it on BK1 or BK2.

Quite simply guys, it ain't gonna happen!

For the reasons (and Fencer's statement) scroll back to February 29th.

Along the lines of bwild's post below, I like to play my games starting with the one that is due to time-out first and play them in that order. Is there a way to do that witout having t go back to the main page each time?

IMCK: Scrabble isn't a brainking game, therefore nothing to do with this board. There's no reason why there can't be a scrabble fellowship though. :o)

Steve: Although you're on 'hide', Fencer CAN see your request.
I agree with you - someone on an enemies list should also not be able to make contact through game's messages if you are playing that person.

BBW, a lot of your posts are written with a lot of sarcasm and a lot are being serious.
Right now I'm confused as to where you really stand on this privacy issue. Or have I missed something?

Cariad summed it up nicely for me in her post of a few days ago when she gave a time and added 'running a bath while eating an apple turnover'.
God help us all if Big Brother gets to brainking! I must confess it's starting to smack of it now.
Personally, I have no desire to see what my opponent is doing when I'm playing our game.

And this from a bloke who's anybody's after a glass of Carlberg!
What's the feature request, loggo? Free coffee and ouzo? I think the best you can hope for is a coffee machine in the BK corridor between that room with the nice padded walls and the First Aid room for index finger strain (aka 'BrainKing Finger').

Seriously though, as Vikings pointed out, the ratings feature will be back.

Okay, guys, I can see this one running and running. Could I respectfully ask you to move the debate to one of the debate boards perhaps?
The feature request has been made and if this issue continues here other feature requests are in danger of being swamped.

Thanks.

Thanks Fencer. :-)

A lot of people don't understand how this system works. A request is made then Fencer needs a bit of time to chisel out his commndment on a tablet of stone, then the moderator has to trek to the mountain top to collect the stone then trek back down again to deliver his decree to the people. :-)

Subject: Re: Friends / Enemies List
It's funny though. I haven't got anybody on my enemies list. I prefer to work by the maxim, 'Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer'!

I have a load of people on my friends list but there are about 6 that I haven't got the faintest idea who they are.
Their profiles offer no clues. It's because they've changed their ids.
I've stopped short of sending a pm along the lines of 'Hi, you're on my friends list! Who are you?'

You guys are having a laugh, right? You can't be serious.

The public boards would soon become clogged with people demanding to know why so-and-so is on so-and-so's enemies list.
Not so good for the youngsters here who have been advised to avoid certain people.

The need to know is for the paranoids among us. If someone's on an enemies list, it's for a reason. No-one needs to know why.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yes, that would be handy for chess players.
I know what you mean about searching through a player's profile to look for games! It takes ages.

What exactly do you mean by a 'watchlist', Caissus?

Not a bad idea, CaissasDream! You are fortunate to be blessed with good looks. However our maker saw fit (probably for a bet) to give me a face like a smacked bulldog's bum.
I suspect there are others like me. *looks over nervously at Kevin*
Of course Kevin isn't one of those unfortunate to languish with anguish in the latter category I'm sure.
It could prove beneficial for me though. It could throw my opponents off their game and I could nip in and clinch victory while they're groping for the bucket (which, like coffee, would become a pre-requisite for gaming on brainking).

If BIG BAD WOLF has been the victim of bogus multiple invitations, then how about a 'delete all invitations' box/button?

Fencer: On Sunday I upgraded from Brain Rook to Brain Supreme Being after paying 3 million euros. Now I am back to being a Brain Rook.

Also on Sunday I won every game I played and won every tournament I entered - including several I hadn't.
Can this be fixed?

What do you mean, 'NO!!'?

Oh, okay then.
