COuld you add a "move and go to the next game against grenv" option.

That should speed up my games a little.

Fencer: Could you add an option to the drop down selection when completing moves to - "move and go to next game in this tournament" - so I can make all my moves in the same tournament one after the other - without having to search for them on the main page.

Dark atomic would be entertaining, but somewhat silly.

Hrqls: The problem with that logic is that those players you know you can't beat are probably rated way higher than you (else how do you know?). This means that losing against them won't affect your BKR anyway. Winning against low rated players doesn't help your rating.

Bry: You know I thought about Cylinder 5-in-line, along with some other games having cylinder versions - but for 5-in-line, since the board is some-what big already, I don't see a cylinder version being much different then the current game.

After looking at all the games offered here now, Cylinder Line 4 and Cylinder Froglet are the 2 which I personally think will be different enough from the original to make the games worth making.

Subject: Re: timed out/resigned games
reza: it would be too easy though to perserve (or even raise it) your bkr in tournament games ... like when i am playing a chess tournament .. at which i can only win against a few other players .. and will lose the most .. i can know already when the tournament starts which games i will lose ... i will them let them time out (or resign?) within 2 moves .. thereby my bkr wont drop by those games ... i will only play the games which i think i can win .. thereby giving my bkr a chance to go up .. and 'never' go down

i only suggest this for tournament games .. as you are put against an opponent .. instead of chosing it yourself

i can imagine people making use of this

as games timed out (and resigned) after the 2nd move are calculated into the bkr .. why not the ones before the 2nd move ?

games which are deleted before the second move are something else .. that is the solution to games which are started by accident
(and you cant delete tournament games (i think))

" I suggest that Fencer (she/he) be at the party " and not " .... IS at the party."

" I suggest that he not visit the doctor " and not " ......... doesn't visit the doctor."

Am I right? If yes, then is there any difference?

And I pre-appreciate your reply. may be you'd rather send me a pm, huh?

Fencer: *nod* thats what i noticed as my win/loss ratio improved ... but my bkr didnt change (i think .. as it wasnt shown in the post i received .. i didnt check the actual bkr though)

does a bkr change if a game is timed out/resigned within the first 2 moves ?

Subject: timed out/resigned games
i recently have 'won' 4 tournament games (2 different players) where my opponent either timed out or resigned (i forgot which) at the first move

because it happened within 2 moves my bkr wasnt changed

i would like it better if the bkr does change on time outs and resignments .. but not on deletion of the game (within 2 moves) .. which of course isnt possible in tournaments

i think those 4 games did add to my win/loss ration though .. is that correct ?

I cant see any indication included with bulk fellowship mail identifying the fellowship from which it originated. Big Bosses be aware, write the name of the source.

One of the things that was also suggested was that when someone does send a message to everyone, that it is also automaticly posted in the fellowships board - that way if someone does "opt out", they will not miss messages in case there is something important.

And option to opt out of individual fellowship messages is a good idea..... if it does not take too much extra work. (I'm up to over 20 messages in the past week which I don't consider important - that is messages which could have easly just have been posted on the fellowship board, and not put in everyone's message box.)

How about Opt out of the messages of specific fellowships. I wouldn't necesarilly want to opt out completely. But I have a couple who are starting to send out too many... (Doesn't bother me THAT much, but I see it could be developing into a pattern..)
And I wouldn't want people in my fellowship to opt out, just because of certain ones sending out too much..

For example I used it to send out an Easter greeting and I was able to hear from people who never post and it was good to hear they were still active. I got many personal replies.

well I will post a new request.

I would like to have an option to opt-out of the "send to all members" messages that BIG BOSSES send out to all their members in the fellowship.

I mean for me, if a BIG BOSS needs to tell people of the fellowship something important, there is already a way to do that by posting in the fellowship message board, and will even give me a red (1) next to the fellowship name.

Since it was introduced, I have recieved 15+ "spam" messages - all which are nice messages from nice BIG BOSSES, but nothing important enough that could not have just been posted in the fellowship board itself.
