There are tournament that don't allow unrated players, because of that it is harder to get a rating and then harder to play that game.
If these tournaments were supposed to be for only Rooks, only above a certain rating or only below a certain rating I'd understand. However when the limit iis 100-4000 I don't see the need for.excluding unrated players.

Bernice: Thanks I was trying to get myself a free prize so I could improve my membershp to one that allowed me to play multiple event and then found the prize aggregated over several tournament :(..
On closer inspection I see there is one game going on in my group, I'm not sure if there is meant to be a 2nd round with all the group winners or that it is over once the game ends. If there is a 2nd round I will play it, as I've guaranteed winning my group.

I've finished all my games and am told I still can't enter another tournament because I'm in another tournament!

nikos: The language was ambiguous as to whether it was a combined score or separate prize for each event :

Brainking 2010 should not be open to pawn members if they can't win. Suppose I win the LOA section of the tournament then I have skewed the tournament for a good LOA player as I can't enter more than one tournament at once.
Good Luck to everyone in brainking 2010.

Subject: Brainking and Brains
Starting out on this site I discover that I want to have more than I want to play more thanj one tournament at a time and so need to improve my membership level.
Fortunately there are tournaments that can be one that offer prizes with no entry fee :).
So I see a nice prize for the game espionage, I think I'll play that and although I've never played it's a tempting prize so sign up.
Then I see brainking 2010 lines of action and sign up and unsignup from espionage, even though the prize isn't as good but it is propbably my best game and suspect I have a decent chance of doing well.
Now I see that I have no chance to win the prize because I need to be the best overall over every brainking 2010 event and since I am only allowed to play one event I have no chance to win the brains.

Subject: Timeout
My page said I had until the 11th Feb before I timed out and I came back to make my move and the game said I'd lost on time.
