Subject: FENCER regarding backgammon
just wondering if in the near future you will be programming the system to return the move automatically to your self when your oponent does not have a valid move
regards Buz

Buz: How does that differ from the autopass that we have?

Eriisa: Simple. autopass only moves the game back to you if your opponent has actually found the setting buried between all the settings, knows what it does, and then turns it on. (The default is off).

Buz's request means "autopass on, always". Far more useful. Automove would even be better (that is, the system will move for you if there's no decision for you to make - incredibly useful for Ludo, Anti-chess and most checkers variants).

I don't think we'll get it - but we can dream, can't we?

Rose: hey, thats great, i miss the guy. He taught me all i know about programming (hmmmm well most of it lol), i want to get my Firefox extension working before he gets back.
I know mctrivia called him a few weeks ago and he is ok, but no news when he will be back. I had to stop the auto player a couple of months back as it was hardly playing any moves for some reason. I think from what mctrivia said that Fencer must off changed some of the code and it was not picking up certain(well most) games.
