Buz: Yes, it was a match of 2 games.
siddhim won the first & you won the second on a time-out.

So the match is a 1-1 draw

Buz: Yes, it's right. But indeed it would be so less confusing if the message said the match was a draw and not the game. (hint to Fencer ;))

pauloaguia: yes but what was confusing me is that on that game i show as losing rating points but i won that game and lost the first so i was thinking i should not have lost points for winning but i believe they must wait till both games are finnished before the rating points are added or removed ?

Buz: Because your rating was higher then your opponent, then you *should* have won - so by your opponent getting a draw overall, he actually beat the odds and was able to gain a few points.

The ratings take into consideration current ratings of you & your opponent, plus how many games you and your opponent has played. The more games complete, the less of a rating change there will be. But yes, it is normal to have draws change your rating.

Buz: yes, all games in a match has to be finished first before the match is taken into account for the rating points

1 match counts as 1 entry for the rating points

1 match of (for example) 9 games counts as much as 1 match of 1 game
1 match of 9 points counts as much as 1 match of 1 point
