Do you mean just normal games - well some players like to play games out. Do you mean games that were "brought back" after the crash, well some player may not know if they won or lost the game before (I know I don't know) 13. November 2003, 21:57:36 Subject: Re: resign games There is a cafe nearby in Glendale, CA, where Armenians all know when it's time to resign, even if they are no good in chess, because their opponent stands up, with the table in hand and throws it across the room. They say that the sight of chessmen flying through the air followed by the board and then the table is a sight no one soon forgets. Good thing I don't speak Armenian, because the words they are using might not be appropriate for general audiences, if you know what I mean. |
