19. February 2024, 19:28:05 Subject: Chess Variant tournaments I have answered my own question about chess, and chess variant tournaments. It's sad to say , but Brain King is slowly Dying. Went through 152 pages of people that have logged in. Found 73 still active, less than half of those were paid members. :-( 19. From what I have seen and read in some boards in the past there was a lot of bickering going on. That might be your cup of tea but it not for some. Some people only play the games and have no interest in the discussion boards. I would not want to use up an hour of my time reading the discussion boards. I would rather play all my games as much as can in the time I have spare.. Fencer has other commitments and this site is not number one anymore and he had the decency to tell us that. However he still does come onto the site every now and again and plays some games. He also does regular updates and informs us when that is taking place. So the site has not 'deteriorated'. This site still functions well. |
