January 2008, 22:38:12 Subject: Re: Is it just me? or is this site slower than a cheapskate at the checkout counter  Fencer: ok, as i said i am trying to be helpful  I sit here and watch all these messages (and more) appear lots of times in rapid succession while a page is loading: waiting for brainking.com reading data from brainking.com waiting for i.brainking.com connecting to i.brainking.com connected to i.brainking.com read brainking.com transferring data from brainking.com (this stays and waits the longest) and all this time the page is still loading, and Fasterfox counter is timing it. How come with NO other site i have this problem, i never get to read those messages anywhere else as it happens so fast and the page, HOWEVER big it is loaded. Again, i am trying to be helpful and giving you any information i think may help track the answer as i know i am not the only one, and like i said the site has been amazingly fast up until a few days ago |
