I thought the mentioned power of sorting every single board was already organised for someone else to help you, and allocated to that person already.
I wont say where i get info :o)
thanks Fencer... it will be nice, im sure we're all excited, but you must be especially excited, all your hard work will soon be scrutinized! are you worried? :)
Subject: come on guys surely not just me wanting to know things ;oÞ
The "all boards arch moderator" What can they do? is it just public and fellowship boards they can access to edit/delete/ban, or profile alterations also?
It is a normal behaviour of overloaded servers.
Do you want an absolutely reliable 24/7 service? Give us, for example, 30,000 EUR and you will have it :-) High-performance hardware costs some money, as well as their maintenance.
Can you tell us what is happening to the site at the moment? the last few days weve had blips and time warps etc. Will this be sorted at the same time or before hand etc?
guess I will just go back to my corner and keep my mouth shut. I see enought fighting going on here to start up anything more. So later everyone. If you care to find out what I was asking feel free to send me a messare to my box...

I still don't know that rule properly. I've probably broken it a few dozen times at least without realising. I know theres more information about it at the backgammon board, this discussion should move over there really.
A player must use both numbers of a roll if this is legally possible (or all four numbers of a double). When only one number can be played, the player must play that number. Or if either number can be played but not both, the player must play the larger one. When neither number can be used, the player loses his turn. In the case of doubles, when all four numbers cannot be played, the player must play as many numbers as he can.
the dice here do not support one of the basic rules in backgammon about use of the dice when only one can be moved... some people consider it cheating.. others consider it legal because this site supports it... i try to play according to the rules...
Steve, I don't know how many times a day I get accused of this! It is impossible to change the dice at backgammon, they are completely random and theres no way to alter that.
if you were able to move the 6 and moved the 3 instead .. than that move would be in poor taste.... but since there was no move available for the 6 then only thing you could do is move the 3 .. which is a legal move...
I need you to inform the players here that there is no way that I can cheat by arranging the dice to roll what I need in backgammon.
I am fed up with one going on and on about me cheating
Thanks, Fencer...now about those 40 games that timed-out. Do you want to get the numbers from my message box?
And I assume my membership time will be extended accordingly?
I understand this right. In 1 of my games I have all but 2 of my men in home. My last two are close but on same spot. I roll a 3-6. I could have moves the 3 with 1 of my men in home but then would not have been able to move the 6 cause my oppent has that spot covered. If I would have done it that way it would have been said that I was cheating for not using both dice right? If that is so then I'm glad I did not do it that way...
I apologise to the following members of whom whose games I've timed out due to circumstances beyond my control.
These games will be reinstated one day and the tournaments may progress normally.
