Subject: Christmas Cactus

My plant has started to flower not supposed to do that this time of year.I haven't done anything to it except water it.Anybody have any ideas besides my granmother who spooks me out

Foxy Lady: we call them Zygocactus, and they seem to flower from about may to september, which would be our winter such as it is in the tropics....

BerniceC: Here they only flower at Christmas time.I'm really surprised it has now.
