BIG BAD WOLF:  I just tried a download using uTorrent 1.6 and the file played fine.  It too is an avi.  It might help to know what kind of computer etc Bernice has.  I'm using Windows Media player 11.  ;)

If you want to save on bandwidth you can reduce the amount of information that shows up in your pages in the Settings. Try changing the number of games in the main page and the number of messages per page. (pauloaguia)
