BBW: Yes, the deadline time can be added to the list of team tournaments.
LJ: Such banning is not supported yet but can be easily added.
grenv: BK doesn't keep these data. I would have to recalculate all BKRs from the very start, based on all finished games. I will think it over.

Bernice: Eh? I didn't do anything like that. The checkbox "delete this message after sending an invite" appears below the "invite to a new game" form in your message box when you receive a message about finished game.

28. July 2004, 17:23:24
Fencer
I can see them.

28. July 2004, 14:31:39

Okay, it should be done.

Subject: Re: After winning/losing a game
What about a checkbox "delete this message after sending an invite" next to the invite form?

I've just added anti backgammon to your fellowship, please try some actions with it.

25. July 2004, 07:27:57
Fencer
Jason: When did it happen? I've looked at your fellowship in thursday's database backup and there was no anti backgammon team.

21. July 2004, 20:12:34
Fencer
It won't be a big problem.

Caissus: How would be the multi-pgn data downloaded, as a zip file?

21. July 2004, 16:26:15
Fencer
Caissus: What about a tournament book generator in PDF? :-)

Unless some high-effective filters are applied :-D

20. July 2004, 22:46:50
Fencer
Yes, it can be done in the future.

19. July 2004, 16:29:13
Fencer
Oh yes, I forgot about it.

Written down.

danoschek: Not yet.
Kevin: Yes, that could be it :-)

Did I? Looks like I've accidentally implemented some AI which works for me because I am not aware of any changes since your previous post :-D

18. July 2004, 13:52:06

Not a problem but where exactly is "somewhere"? :-D

chattytea: Why would it be impossible to make a 24/7 cover of public boards? The only thing we need is a sufficient number of reliable moderators around the world, that's all.

17. July 2004, 18:30:37
Fencer
Shortly, no global filters will be done.
When I have some time, I can implement user-defined filters where each user can define a list of words he doesn't want to see. But I don't expect to do it soon because any run-time filters slow down other processes which is never best for BrainKing.

Subject: Re: word censor on DB's
Especially you, Stevie, should know that any word censor filter can be bypassed by replacing certain letters with dots, asterisks etc. :-) Even the best algorhithm can be overridden, each anti-spam software developer will confirm it. It's not worth wasting my time.

Fencer
No changes like that are made instantly.
And issues related to the real purpose of this site [playing games] have always higher priority.
Try to be patient, please. Keeping the site up and running is more important than solving a problem with one discussion board.

15. July 2004, 19:41:28
Fencer
It can be done.

15. July 2004, 12:48:19

Yes, it would be possible.

Why, Mr. Anderson?

The Statistics page is here.

BBW: Such tables can be generated in real-time, one table is returned in half a second. BK 2.0's database model is prepared for it :-)

13. July 2004, 21:31:03

Of course, grenv is the second :-)

It's been discussed many times and BrainKing.com board would be better for it.
Anyway, check the formula.

About blots, would a different move hint (the red text above the game board) do the trick? For example "you must click on your bar".

13. July 2004, 10:29:41
Fencer
Kithara: The system counts only moves made by paying members but I can add some more statistics like that in the future. It depends on what our database server is capable of under current heavy load :-).

12. July 2004, 23:24:37
Fencer
1) I plan to do it very soon.
2) Yes, this option will be added as well.

12. July 2004, 23:15:46

Not yet. Some green dot indicator will be added next to player names on the Main Page soon.

11. July 2004, 16:23:10
Fencer
No, why? The button switch has been done in 5 seconds :-D Of course, it's not uploaded to this site yet.

Eriisa: Lenka says she'll try to make it but it depends if they have it in a wholesale or not. If not, it will be black or white :-)

10. July 2004, 21:07:43

I will add more colour options [with more pictures] when the photos are ready.

10. July 2004, 21:00:35

Five or six, I guess. It's just started :-)

Even unrated players are rated but their BKR is not shown. Everyone starts with 1300.
