Subject: Re: Ignore / Mute
If you don't want to read messages from some boards, simply don't click on their names. Or do I miss something? What should be the real effect of the Ignore function?

I'm not sure if I should cancel all already started games. But maybe I am wrong, what do you think? Should the affected tournaments be recreated after the bug is fixed?

Subject: Re: Maximum number of players per section
No, that's a bug. It was supposed to create one section for all six players. I will fix it ASAP.

About default action and other features related to Settings - yes, there is a small bug. Will be fixed :-)

ladybell: Sure, battleboats plus and dark battleboats.

Iron, Rose: No idea on "how soon", but definitely "soon or later". I am working on too many features at once.

What "Dark Chess"? This game is already here.

4. June 2003, 23:01:40

Fixed. There was a small bug in two-games tournament type and it is fixed too.

Doubling cube is planned too. I simply cannot do everything at once.

harley: Will be done later

Possible :-) Will be added. I prepare a big upgrade, it will be a part of that.

Maybe you could move this discussion to one of Backgammon boards.

Tony: It is probably done by JavaScript which is not available for WebTV, I would say. I can make it as an option, later.

BIG BAD WOLF: I've just wanted to write my favorite "WORKS FOR ME" but you are right, it happened to me too! :-) I have to do something with that.

I will check it.

Will be done.

Popping up is really interesting idea. Thanks :-)

13. May 2003, 10:33:56

Please try it now.

That's why automated tests should be applied after each code change. Unfortunatelly I have no time to write them.

Ha! That's it! I've just tried to set "Next Game" as the default action and then the move and go to #game stopped working. Phew! That's what programmers call "regression bug" - something what stopped working as a side effect of another bugfix or feature addition.
Please give me a day or two, it will be fixed ASAP ;-)

Subject: Re: Move and go to (game#) box
I've just tried it and it really works for me. Hmmm, interesting. What about Arthur's point? [clicking on the correct button]

12. May 2003, 08:14:44
Fencer
Eriisa: I will check it.
harley: That's what I've planned some months ago to add :-) Looks like I should really do that now.

I will stop the clock soon because we will be adding a second server and making some changes.

THanks and if you [or anybody else] have requests for more actions at that dropdown box, just let me know :-)

BBW: There was a bug, the 1 should be removed now.

Yes. And you can also send me a message about the transaction.

jason: Just do it for yourself and add a note with the target user ID, I will do the rest.
mmammel: There is a bug, I know about that. Will be fixed.

Thanks for all suggestions. I will do something with everything :-)

Subject: Re: Drop down list
MadMonkey: That's really cool idea :-) Maybe I could reduce all buttons to just one associated with an action combo box.

14. April 2003, 15:50:32
Fencer
Is it better now?

13. April 2003, 15:24:38
Fencer
I will look at it. The strange behaviour is probably the result of several recent database changes.

8. April 2003, 17:41:34
Fencer
jondownie: Sure, later. It is at my TODO list.
Pioneer54: I've just added Winners page, check it out. I will improve it later.

Everything is written down :-)

2. April 2003, 11:48:29

Dmitri: Right :-)
Big Bad Wolf: About logging out, the problem is that this process requires the database access to store the logout event. But I can add a possibility to logout from "upgrade" page by a simple "delete the login cookie" script. Added to my TODO list. About Favourite Boards and Fellowships, would it help if I add an option to hide these lists from the right column?

31. March 2003, 10:50:08

Rabbits2: Nope, it was caused by the database overload. Will be fixed soon.

I plan to add Chinese Chess. But first I have to 1) finish current tasks, 2) learn how to play it ;-)

I would like to add Go but I still have problems with correct implementation. I need more time.

Subject: Re: Some ideas...
1) BrainKing.com is mostly a site to play games, that's why I didn't spend much time implementing the discussion boards. Maybe later.
2) Cool :-) But I've never heard about it. Where can I find more info?
3) No. I am open to any discussion except this one. Ask Kevin ;-)

24. March 2003, 17:25:14
Fencer
Okay, I'll try to add some marks of difference ;-)

24. March 2003, 16:43:24

Nope, we use our approach. It would be really confusing for unexperienced players after multiple opponent's move.

MysticPhanton: It is already at my TODO list :-)
Ed, John: Since I've already received all gothic chess images, I will add this game within several days.

I would like to but I am not sure about a correct algorithm. Are there some resources about Go programming model?
