LOL.... I just went to sign up for a backgammon tournament advertised on the main page, and it is due to begin in October 2006! Whats up with that?

Czuch Chuckers: LOL Chuckers. Some have series of tournaments that have the same name but different numbers. So they set up the whole series at one time.

Jules: A bit slow ???? Awfully slow I should say . It's getting worse every day . Now I have to re-log in about every two minutes. Problems started after te revision of Tuesday evening and it's getting worse . It takes me hours to make my moves . Hope Fencer can do something about it as soon as possible.

Peeky: Since you made 1874 moves yesterday, I wouldn't say it takes you hours to make your moves.
I agree there are some peak moments and performance issues but it's just a normal consequence of any significant system change. Of course, the source has been already detected and the improvement is being developed but it cannot be done immediately.

Those with up graded memebership are experiencing blazing speed!

The site does seem pretty fast. I was just thinking about a move today and it showed up.

if you start a tourny and join it...and your membershp expires....are you stil in?

yes if it starts before before it expires, or if you have enough empty slots and are not in another tourney

well....that was the only good reason I could think of.
