baddessi: ROFL...hehehe....I already thought of sending them to Eriisa, and getting her to send them on my behalf....Thanks for the offer tho....I will wait and see what happens ROFLMBO
BerniceC: send them in a PM to harley : )
She collects all the questions, sends them to Eriisa to answer and then posts the completed interview.
I'm working on my list too!
You should know how it works by now!
Send me any question you'd like to have included in Eriisa's interview. State if its ok to put your name with your question. Send as many or as few as you like, and any question you like! Easy as that!
Is something weird going on? A pond game was due to be ready for a new turn 1 hour and 40 minutes ago, and for some reason wont go into the games waiting to be played ?
Czuch Chuckers: I am not to sure... but when you send it ask if it is Ok how you would like... Most pics that are on fellowship pages are close in size to yours... if that is the range that you want it...
And if you do the same thing (The Ctrl + wheel thingie) using the Opera browser (don't know about Firefox) the zoom effect applies to the entire page (pics included) making it a nice feature for those bigger boards to fit whole in the browser window
volant: When the screen is too wide for me, I hit "Control -" (control and the minus key). That shrinks the fonts a step down and everything fits again.
pauloaguia: "But in correspondance chess (and other games) usually the help of books, move databases or even computers is not forbidden. Some of those (if not all) are even good ways to learn how to play the game. And since it can't be controlled anyway..."
This is exactly, what I have said many times before. In addition,I would say this is even the reason, why a correspondence chessplayer plays the game so slowly: He wants study his moves in the books,in the databases and in his engines to decide about one move rightfully. Which other reason should he have to suspend his games over and over?
And if I hear people saying :I want not play against a computer!
Perhaps you have played many times against a computer in the past without knowing it?
But mostly it is a mixture between human and machine.
My list of favorite boards and fellowships on the right side of my screen is wider than it used to be causing the red numbers to dissapear off the right side. The boards and fellowships with longer names used to be broken up and shown on 2 or 3 rows now each one is shown only on one row. Is this a change in BK or a change in my puter?
(hide) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (show all tips)
