What is "standard" tournament type?

This is the basic tournament type provided by BrainKing.com. The list of signed players is divided into sections of 8 players (or less, depending on the total number of signed players) where each player plays one game with all other players of this section according to Shurig tables - the system of choosing colors of players of each game. After all sections are finished, the winners of the sections are grouped into new sections and the tournament continues at the next round. The number of rounds depends on the number of players. The winner of the last round is the tournament winner.
Example: The list contains 100 players. They will be divided into 13 sections with these number of players - 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7. The 13 winners of these sections (let us consider that each section has only one winner although it is possible to have more winners) will create the second round - one section with 7 players and one section with 6 players. Let us have 2 winners of the first section and 1 winner of the second one. These three players form the third round. The winner of this round is the tournament winner.
It can happen that only two players are at the last round. In this case the 3-wins match will be arranged, otherwise the tournament result would depend on one game only which is not fair.
