Subject: Re: Rating players regardless of the game
After a player has completed 4 games they are given a provisional rating which will be in italics. Once they have completed 25 games the rating is then changed to standard text.

Likewise with rankings ... after 4 games they are included in the "all players" ranking ... and then after 25 games they will have an "established BKR" ranking followed by their "all players" ranking something like 23(44)

Subject: Regurgitated Games
For those of you who are wondering is it just me, I guess not becasue I have a number of games I have moved on that have either timed out or gone back to where they were a few days ago too.

Let's hope Fencer can fix this one up ... got to it my friend :)

I just don't log out ... turn off the screen and go to bed, or to work, or wherever ... so there is at most times a brainking window available. Fencer - does this effect server performance ?

But you do need to read them nearly every day as many boards get more than 50 messages each day. When this happens you will need to go back a few (sometimes many) pages but then the "new" markings disappear.

You can also change the number of messages displayed each time too although I have left mine to the standard 50. I think if you change this it changes all the boards and I expect the more messages the longer to download.

Cheers W.

Humble, honest and supported. Let's talk about how good this site is and give thanks to Fencer for the great work he does and how he responds to all suggestions.

I know it is not a hexagon, although i expect a hexagonal version probably exists, but what about something like Stratego ... tank battles with more ranks. Mind you, I still haven't played all the games here yet ... once I lose a few Tank Battles I will move onto Tablut so watch out for the bunny coming your way soon.

Maybe this sparks the idea for a competiton to design the ultimate Janus piece?
