Nirvana: Thanks for the Maiden. That album and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww3VXCeBNus redeemed my faith in metal in the 80's.It had gone pretty soft till then.

awesome: Damn I love The Cat,what a musical genius.Creativity can be so unpredictable. We caught years of special music, but now he's focused it in another direction.I guess we should just be grateful for the great music he gave us in that period. I lost my dad 5 years back, this song always brings a tear

TexasToest: I constantly try and maintain an objective point of view when it comes to different styles of music. It's so easy to label certain music as "crap" but I try and remember that it's an art form and regardless of it being pleasing to my ear it might be pleasing to others. In other words, there is no "bad" music, just different.I can appreciate those who are schooled in the finer points, but I was a self taught player and I think that also allows us to be less strict in what we can do,thus more creative at times.

TexasToest: Rob is a scoring player isn't he.I thought I had found a gem on utube of Stevie Ray and Jeff Healy dueling, but it has been removed and Roy Buchannon is nowhere to be found.I finally found a cd by a band I saw(and loved) open for Bob Seeger back in the 70's,anyone ever heard of Toby Beau? it took forever to replace that album

It's nice to be back
