tonyh: Bud.. I would hope to heck he didn't give us that much vacation time, we have plenty..

Some peeps yes.. they need the vacation time.. while other abuse it..

For instance.. someone who starts up lots of games and tournaments.. then goes over to a new account .. and never intends on coming back to the account the games were started on.. if they have a full lot of vacation days.. and they game allows them 14 days to make a move.. it takes at least 45 days to time out when they have full vacation days.. which not only holds up the games and tourneys.. it also restricts those who are playing the game that don't have a membership to have to sit and wait it out.. or suffer the point loss by resigning the game.

even those who start over 200 games and can't keep up with the games..

We get plenty of Vacation Days!

Great.. I noticed you on line and was hoping that perhaps we could spend some time on our game if you wouldn't mind..

Or similiar.. I noticed she has some health problems and I believe she may have had some puter problems.. perhaps that is what was slowing her down..

LuckyCat9: Well concidering Thanksgiving is basically a holiday for America I don't have a question as to why Fencer.. who is Czech doesn't recognize it.. I also don't question why a majority of the world population doesn't recognize Christmas/Chanukah either.. due to that holiday season being determined due to religion..

LuckyCat9: I just individually clicked each month.. yes.. I know the long way! LOL I only really saw one public holiday and that would be Christmas.. I think since this is an Internet site.. and is not limited to one country or to a set religion.. I think it was decided to not show a prejudice on particular holidays which are limited to either the Country or the Religion that one might be related with..

Marfitalu: a little competition is one thing.. and yes.. it can be fun.. let's face it I would rather play against someone a bit more stronger than myself to learn different perspectives and plays.. but I am not the type that sits and dwells on a game for 3 days as to where I am going to place my next move.. and I do know some that do.. and to the point that the game ends up setting their moods.. they also have attitudes that they are godlike.. To me.. these are games.. they are placed online to entertain.. and challenge a bit.. as well as offer a gathering for others with similar interests to meet and converse.. a social place.. That is why I enjoy stopping in here to Brainking.. it isn't for the.. Oh.. I wonder how many games I can win tonight against my opponents..

why is it men have to be so gosh darn competitive on who is the best?? In this case.. it isn't earning anything .. it doesn't pay the bills.. ??? So why sit and analyze this.. ?? LMCAO!!

Goodfoods and his wife went through hurricane Katrina.. their house withstood the winds.. they lost lots of trees.. and due to the power surges lost their A/C and their Refridge and Freezers.. amongst the smaller appliances.. which those smaller ones he says can be replaced easier.. he did mention though.. the larger appliances are a bit harder to afford at this time..

If any of you would like to help donate even 5 or 10 dollars would be of a great help.. and when we have reached the goal of getting him his needs perhaps the extra money can go to someone else in his area.. :)

TT and I, amongst others are anxious to help.. so please contact one of us privately to find out how you can help him and his family..

Thankies

playBunny: the blame doesn't just fit on one foot.. it fits on all.. No one man should take full blame.. perhaps a bit of maturity and reasoning as well as respect towards another would best be needed.. but, then we all have cultural differences.. don't we.. WE aren't all raised with the same parents.. and while one country disapproves of a smile linking it to mean something more lustrious.. another merely means it in a friendly way..

My point is this.. Instead of reacting right off.. sit back and evaluate what all is said.. and try to see it from the other persons view.. realize also that heated arguments do get carried away.. more so with the male gender.. :)

have a nice evening..
