So, I totally agree with Rod who said : " ..... IF the page would stay filtered until you tell it not to. "
The filter disappears when you choose : " Move and stay here ". What a pity !

For me, it's different : when I use my laptop,it's rather slow but when I use my familial pc, it's very fast. I think it comes from the pc. On my familial pc, I've put a very powerful graphic card and that helps, I think.

Here, It's about the same price in other websites.

I'd like to add something about what you were saying :
For me, Brainking.com isn't a website with only games. Here, you find many discussion boards about many subjects, you can put your pics, you can create a fellowship with the members you choose, you can give vote with polls. It's a place for playing but also for speaking with friends.

Will the number of hours for vacation also be mentioned as days, so as to have an idea about the remaining time ?

And I don't speak about games (in team tournaments) you play for f/s which have been deleted after the beginning of the tournament.
For what I said before (a team with less than 4 players) you can hope to find another player, but when the f/s is deleted : you're convicted ! : you have to wait the end of the tournament (shall I speak again about slow players ?! ).
But, in this case, you're also punished ! : at the end of the tournament, you're blocked and can't join no more teams for this game. Luck is with you because Fencer had the good idea to create a bug tracker and each time I asked, this problem has been solved (thanks to him).
But I must admit this irritates me a little and I've actually this problem with 4 games and I've not informed, so I'm blocked for these games.

Subject: Re: Every team should have a captain
" it has been requested before, that there should be a way for players in teams to either make themselves available or not without having to leave & rejoin teams " : I totally agree with that.
And I'd like to be able to join several teams for the same game. Because when I like a game, I'd like to play it more often. I understand that it can make a problem when the 2 teams where you are play together, but in this case, only one choice would be possible (for the player) for example.
I say this, because sometimes you join a team, you play several tournaments and suddenly (I don't know why) many players leave the team and you're now less than 4 in the team, so you can't play other tournaments (because not enough players) and you can't leave the team for another because the tournaments aren't finished (even YOU have finished).
And we'll speak again about slow players.... (it will remember something to Gouwe gover and Gabriel Almeida - a discussion we had on another board).

Gouwe gozer: Oh yes, I agree : it's the only thing I don't like in team tournaments. The best thing to do to avoid this is to be captain ! But yes, it's a lot of job.
I do with this because team tournaments are really my favourite tournaments.

I'd like to know if someone else has the same " problem " as me. It's not really a problem because it doesn't really concern the game, but when I answer to a message in the " Events " box, I can't use the smileys (it's blocked). I like them because it's an easy way to congratulate someone who doesn't speak your language (we can put this : for example).

Modified by Mélusine (19. May 2010, 16:34:25)
Pedro Martínez: I've a game at home which is on a CD. I can choose the level " easy " for children or else the " hard " level for adults. At the beginning, I was asking myself what could be the difference. I've noticed that the letters which are given are different : example : in the " easy " game, you receive more vowels and letters than we can find in many words, but in the " hard " game, you more often receive difficult letters as " K ", " W ", etc...
Of course, it's always more easy for the player which knows better the language, but it's also interesting for the beginner.

Mélusine
Subject: Re: I'm pretty sure English and French have the same alphabet
Roberto Silva: Yes, french and english have the same alphabet, and yes, you're right, some letters are more used in a language than the other : example with the letter " W " : in a dictionnary french/english, there's 1 page for this letter in french when there are about 15 pages in english !
In the 2 languages, the combinations of letters are also different : we have " QU " in french but " TH " is exceptional although we see it commonly in english.
I'd like to play Scrabble in english but the problem is that my vocabulary is more limited than someone who speaks english everyday in his (her) country. I think several levels (for example : one hard and one easy) would be necessary for this game.

I remember games I finished without being able to put these letters !

I think each general board, as this one, must be moderated because everybody can read it but I think that the boards in the f/s must be free because they are in private f/s and if someone doesn't agree, he can leave the f/s.
