i still like the idea of pushing frogs away on your final jump each move

or use an heron to move over the frogs eating them up, and scaring them away

each player uses the same heron or several heron on the board

MagicDragon: on this same board fencer challenged everyone to make more than 8 jumps : Fencer (1927) (hide) 2004/09/02, 06:38:25

you are the first who did it i think .. or at least the first who posted about it .. i wonder if you won any prize :)

another variation :

white takes 1 green frog (as it is now), black makes 2 moves, white makes 2 moves, etc.

but maybe this is less balanced ?

push frogs into the pond .. 1 large area in the middle of the board .. you can push other frogs (dont how exactly, any ideas?) into the pond to gain (negative?) points

just a wild idea .. not thought through very well :)

another idea : you make your move as it is done now, and after that move you can move 1 frog to an tile next to it

*nod* .. would there be any way to make it possible though ... i am in the dark here .. but maybe it could do something if you have to move again when you only captured a green one (in dark) .. but not sure .. i am just thinking aloud .. and confusing myself :)

would there be a way to make dark froglet ?
for example not knowing the colors of the frogs you are leaping over ? ;)

'chose another piece' is used to restart your turn, when you make up your mind and want to make another move than you were doing already

(nice rook bbw! is that the icon for the double gold rook ? ;))

true .. also happened to me a few times as well ... happened to many times in the pattern of thoughts as you have to think differently .. not just move differently :)

multi jumps are fun! (in froglet :))
the more the better

in a game i had a 6 or 7 jump (which is my max so far .. but i am working on it :)) ... in which it didnt allow me my last jump .. it was a bug fencer fixed within an hour (thanks :)) ...

i would love to be able to jump as far as i can if the situation is there .. the end is always the most exciting as a real good multi jump can totally switch scores :)

is there a page on which i can see the average total moves per game of anti froglet ?

(i am fine with the size .. i stand corrected :))

didnt remember it correctly :)

i finished 6 games of froglet : 36-40 moves .. average 38 moves per game

i finished 1 game of anti-froglet : 46 moves

maybe its just that my games of anti-froglet just take longer in time to get their next move :)

(plus the fact that i had more games of froglet running at the same time which made it seem to go faster)

where can you find the info about the average number of moves before a game is finished ?

my froglet games are around 30 moves while my anti-froglet game was about 40 i think ... not sure though :)

(and i played too few games to have a real average)

Subject: size of the board
what do you think about the size of the board in anti-froglet ?

as its the goal to achieve as little points as possible most multijumps will be avoided adding some moves before the game is finished

my games of antifroglet seem to be very slow ... but i like the speed & board size of simple froglet :)
