Just goes to show that even though I never cared for the band in the past...I can really appreaciate Geddy's voice now....I have never heard them sound this good!
And to all the Ruch fans...thanks for not stoning me!

I have NEVER been a rush fan...when ever I would hear the lead singer, Geddy Lee, on the radio, I would lunge to change the channel...his voice, and the band were too 'Rock Opera' for my taste.

This has changed with their new album of cover songs...they rock!

Their version of 'The Yardbirds' "Heart Full of Soul" is in many ways better than the origional...and their version of 'Summertime Blues' is too much!

Here is a Web site for Rush fans.

....are going to be on the Jay Leno show Wednesday, 7/21. And also the Jimmy Kimmel Live show Monday, 7/26.

Their new album 'Horse of a Different Color', which includes their hit Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy), is a must have feel good addition to anyones music colection.

I liken the pairing of Big Kenny and John Rich as the same luck the music world enjoyed when Crosby, Stills, and Nash sang their first song together in Mama Cass' home, and someone told them...'You all should really sing together.'

This entire site uses links for everything....checks out the window for unmarked cars...so until someone from the FBI...checks phone line for taps....
or the CIA....looks under futon...comes knocking on anyones door....looks suspiciously at sleeping cat...I say we cont. to post the way we have been doing...puts on dark glasses to take out (shredded) printouts from Music Board...

NOW! I can always revisit the past in music...but the future of all genres of music is wide open...
With the exception of Rap...I mean how many words rhyme with 'Bitches'?

Subject: Tammy Wynette
One of her first hits was 'D-I-V-O-R-C-E'...but came to be the most well known for Stand By Your Man"..and had to endure slurs by the public as she was married 3 times...divorced twice... to her first husband...Tammy was a teenage bride....
And to George Jones.
At the time of her death, Tammy was still married to husband #3, song writer, George Riley.

Fine little girl she waits for me,
Me catch the ship for cross the sea
Me sail the ship all alone
Me never think me make it home

Louie, Louie, me gotta go
Louie, Louie, me gotta go

Three nights and days me sail the sea
Me think of girl constantly
On the ship I dream she there
I smell the rose in her hair

Louie, Louie, me gotta go
Louie, Louie, me gotta go

Me see Jamaica moon above
It won't be long, me see my love,
I take her in my arms and then
Me tell her I never leave again

Louie, Louie, me gotta go
Louie, Louie, me gotta
