If it was rounded, I would say same as Rod, more games = more established, should be number 1 :o)

I need 1 more player to join my 10x10 team for the tourny, any takers?

I feel privaledged that I beat you Kevjon, its a shame it was on GT and not here though :o(

Since the recent ban from Brainking that I endured, I have come back and just do not seem to be able to get back into rev 6x6 (which was my best game) :o( If anyone who has recently played me has noticed where I am going wrong, I would be grateful for some advice :o)
See these sort of things do affect us,

PS. nice to see some prompt moderating and it included a Customer Service rep for a change

Have you thought about this...
...Was knowing what he was doing,
Then gets caught out and has to admit it, unfortunately to someone who will say how it is and warn people etc etc instead of cower in the corner not saying anything or standing up for them for no reason.
So then comes up with a planned get out line of.....I didnt know it wasnt allowed..

We have a rating system here, it wouldnt be good if the players at the top, were there not by their own doing, holding genuine players off of being up there

27. April 2004, 19:25:45
Stevie
Thats what I dont like, I was also told "I dont like to lose" so the programme is so they dont have losses by genuine players :o(

I dont think they realise that Logistello is Arnie LOL

Subject: Hello.

Well, i saw the discussion about me on Reversi 8x8 boards about cheating by using a program. Well the truth is that i play the game by myself and when i have doubts i open the program i've created and see the moves it's suggests. I didn't know this is forbidden here so i've done it many times. Not always. So it's not a case of cheating but a case of ignorance. I even saw a player called logistello and i wondered if he was using logistello.
Since the games here are in a correspondence form i thought using a program for the best possible play was legal. It seems that's not the case.
But i haven't seen anywhere in the FAQ's that using a program is not allowed, so it seemed to me perfectly logical to use a program.

Anyway from now on, i would inform the opponent before the game, that (s)he is going to play with a human and possibly with a computer. I say possibly, as in not all of my games, i played with the help of my program. And if he accepts this OK. If not, again OK. So everything is fine.

As for my Reversi 8x8 BKR, the moderators can't do everything they want. As i can't write to the Reversi discussion board, could you please tranfer these, for letting the moderator to know?

Nope not me Arnie, not good enough yet ;o)
But your bkr was also falsified due to a lot of time outs recently and now building back up, too quickly may I add LOL

27. April 2004, 01:40:46

nah, just stupid LOL

They probably wouldnt aqllow a programme to be used in a tourny, so I think its obvious to anyone that its cheating, I agree with LJ

make a note in the diary of that LOL

27. April 2004, 01:24:00
Stevie
should still have bkr reset even then, because its a false one that he has

27. April 2004, 01:20:40

I think he needs removing from the ratings for reversi

I have proof (confession by himself) now, he is using programme to play reversi 8x8 on here, so I would suggest you do not play chessmaster1000 at rev 8x8 he is cheating

I know hardly anyone showed interest in a ladder when i mentioned a manual 1 before, but...
....We have got a half auto/ half manual ladder set up for 8x8 on another site, which we will use Brainking for the games for.

If anyone is interested, contact me :o)

Subject: Re: Happy end III/Icare
I think its a good programme even if it is a bit confusing with its layout etc.

But yes LJ, similar to use as Zebra.

The skill test is 50 games which are half way through, you have 20 seconds to decide where to move. The programme decides how many discs yo uwould lose going by the single move on each game, and any that you take too long it also deducts 15 or 20 discs I think.

I didnt do too well on my first and only try while getting used the programme layout and lost 162 discs LOL

But hope to improve now I can use it better ;oÞ

There are also 6000 or more random partly played games for you to finish and get ranked by your finishing. So as Arnie says, it should help endgames.

Sorry I missed the convo, I have to say this to Longjohn..
I guess now Arnie has lost games (even though he wins near enough all he plays), does that mean you will not be accusing Arnie of cheating? Like you did another good player

2. March 2004, 10:51:12
Stevie
Fencer was spoke to about it, but wether he will or not I dont know.

Its ok Rose, the reply I was refering to was the one in a game from you, not on here :o) I knew what your post here was about

yep, 7 posts down, and on each reversi fellowship I belong to

1. March 2004, 22:38:42

in your settings you can activate most mover list, so it shows at top of your main page. It will only show number one mover until you click on the link next to it.

I would like a reversi ladder here, and offered to run a manual one, but only Rose commented on it

1. March 2004, 22:28:17
Stevie
If you look at the moves list upchuck, you will see plenty of games being moved, not just chat.
But what has that got to do with reversi?

Subject: Ladders
I was thinking about setting up a simple ladder for the BK reversi players similar to the GT ones, one ladder per variation.
If you are interested, please let me know in one way or another.
It would be set up on my website and accesable from BK. But the games would have to started manually etc.
