Yes, there were users who often changed their name to certain rude words, that's why I added a confirmation mode.

Who are the 'administrators' that are in charge of approving name changes? And why does it take so long?

I've been curious about this, and am giving up guessing and am asking. I just know it's something simple and I've overlooked it.

I think i have stumbled onto something new that has not been mentioned...

When looking at ratings for a specific game type you can see if the players that are rated are currently online or not. Pretty cool!

*edited for spelling error lol :)

Subject: Recent Changes
I like the recent change where the "Move and Go To" box list the games in the same order as the main page (which can be by time), but recently I've been playing with the setting of "Move and go to next game of the same type."

Anyway, what I think it use to do is go to the next game of the type which has been sitting the longest.

now it does not, which means if there are a few people on-line, i only play those games - and the games that have been waiting the longest are still waiting even longer.

So is this how it works now? Plus is there a way to sort the main page by "how long the game has been waiting"? I like that option so I can keep playing all my games, and not just those lucky enough to keep jumping in front of those that have been waiting for awhile.

I guess random positions are good for battleboats though, since that game involves no strategy anyway.

I disagree. I just checked the random position for screen chess and saw the king on d4. Not only would I never want to use that position, if my opponent had the same position the kings would start adjacent to each other. Is that allowed? And how do I get to see a different random position?

I assume theres the option to change any pieces we're not happy with? So it needn't be the same for black and white.

Once time is turned back on, the games that show "0" time left will time out. All other time will stay as it is now. (no extra time added.)

8. July 2004, 16:14:21

when time is started again, any games that are showing 0 mins now, will end with them the loser
