Fencer, I can't join a new tournament, even though I've already lost the one I'm in. I'm hoping to win a membership at this site, so can you please fix me up so that I can join a new tournament? Thanks in advance.

Also, any more about Gothic Inventor will be deleted now. The question has been asked and the answer is clear. Any more discussion should be done on a more appropriate board (and preferably in private! LOL)

Excellent work, Bernice. I stand corrected and you are correct. Forgive me for combining in my mind what is written therein with Fencer's statement below and coming to a rational, just conclusion. The fault is all mine.

Subject: URSURPER ..as usual you dont read what is written
I said ...."I cannot see where there are any confirmations as to who the directors are etc..."
well that is what i can see....praps your viewing has been somewhat curtailed hehehehe.
Look at this as copy/pasted from below....please indicate to me where Fencer and Liquids names are or for that matter the "Liar" what is his name???

Your e-mail address is required for registration, and is used to send an activation code to and notify you when it is your turn to move or a similar game event occurs. Your e-mail address will not visible to anyone else on BrainKing.com except you. If you choose to give your e-mail address to your opponent, you may do so by posting a private message with your move. Otherwise, no one visiting BrainKing.com will have access to your e-mail address, not even your opponents.

BrainKing.com guarantees that all e-mails sent from us to players are for the player's benefit (usually notifying you when it is your turn in your started games). However, you can turn this option off on your Settings page to be protected against receiving any such e-mails from BrainKing.com.

Your e-mail address is never given out to third parties without your EXPLICIT permission.

Players can set up optional (not required) information about themselves in their My Profile page to inform other players about real name, country, date of birth etc. BrainKing.com will never share these information with third parties without your EXPLICIT permission.

BrainKing.com uses cookies to track your user ID as you move from page to page. This is to prevent you from having to log on repeatedly as you navigate the site. Since you already have to log on, we know who you are, so the use of cookies does not affect your privacy in any way.

All messages exchanged between you and your opponents in game pages are visible only by the particular game players. Other players can only see the game itself (board, notation, time left, ...) but all other private information (messages) are invisible to them. If you want to increase your privacy when playing a game, you can check "Private game" checkbox in game definition page. In such case, other players are unable to see game board, game notification and other game information.

If you use BrainKing.com from a public/shared computer (like at internet cafe, etc.), do not forget to click on "Logout" link and then close all browser windows when you want to finish your BrainKing.com session. This process should avoid other people to use the same computer and continue to play on BrainKing.com with your ID.

as i said....NO Liar, no Fencer, no Liquid....this is off the Privacy Policy as per below

Please read our Privacy Policy [the link is at the bottom of each page]. It never was broken and never will be. Nobody except me and Liquid can access the BrainKing database. It is a basic rule of each site administrator and BrainKing is not an exception.

I would have thought that all posts in regard to GothicInventor would have and should have been on the "Truth about the Trice" board...after all this is what it is called :)...it dont belong here.

"This is not to suggest for one moment that BK would abuse its position, simply that the medium itself is insecure."

You may not have seen his post but Trice claims he could read the messages in the database, this clearly would be an abuse of the trust we put in this site.

I am aware, as most people are of the dangers inherent with use of the internet but it does not mean we should ignore it when it affects us.

Subject: Internet Security
Anybody that places confidential or private information over the internet onto a server not controlled by a formally regulated organisation or system and without an appropriate level of encryption or access control, is asking for that information to appear in the public domain.
This is not to suggest for one moment that BK would abuse its position, simply that the medium itself is insecure.
Simply put... if you have something to hide, dont hide it here.
In the same way you would not discuss your love life, or office conspiracy et al where it could be overheard.
Then whether or not your messages can be overlooked becomes largely irrelevant.
Having seen some of the posts, personally I feel anyone who could sift through all that rubbish for a nugget of interest deserves a medal.

Either it's true or not but I believe it should be dealt with. Someone who has a financial interest in this site should not make claims like that.

If you mean on the main active game list, I can still do that.. I switch back and forth all the time... I like it better in alphabetical order of game name, but switch to being ordered by "time left", frequently to make sure I move on games low on time.
