Fencer, could you look at http://brainking.com/game/ShowGame?g=435602? In this game of Screen Chess, my opponent was missing a pawn from the start (though we didn't notice it at first). Could something be done to correct this?

I don't like to see such accusations on public boards, especially without irreversible proofs. Please use info@brainking.com for this kind of, uh, reports.

Well, LJ and QWERTY girl are the same person so he is using two accounts. I thought you could tell by the ISP or something.

He should hire someone to take care of the .info site - I'll do it cheaply, just a few extra "rigged" Dice in my gammon games a month will be fine!

(NOTE: For the people who can't tell, the part about rigged dice is just a joke! *wink* *wink*)

Its up to Fencer! I'd like to do them again, they were great fun and a lot of people liked them, but they did create a lot of work to put them on the BK.info site. What do you think, Fencer?

There is too much bickering on this game site - We need to go back and do some more fun stuff.

Hey harley - any chance of starting back up the interviews of people? I've always found those to be interesting, and I'll even volunteer to be a victom if you need one! :-)

Subject: Sorry if this has been asked and answered many times but:
Guideline #1

Each individual who plays on BrainKing is asked to use one, and only one, BrainKing account.

Reasoning:

We have a rating system on BrainKing which is used to estimate a player's strength in a particular game. Creating multiple accounts just to "lose" to one of your other accounts for the purpose of "boosting" a rating is not sporting, and will not be tolerated.

Does this mean that it's OK to have multiple accounts as long as you are not using them to play against each other? Fencer? I mean, what if someone creates another account not to cheat, but just to have another account? :)

still being the absolute idiot...you havent heard of anyone else having problems??? here is part of a message I received from WhisperzQ

***Hi Bernice

I have recently renewed my membership too and was not particlularly fussed with the options available.

Eventually went with the Paypal option as we already have a paypal account which we use for a few things ... the MoneyBrokers one scared me a little and it is not free (for us Aussies). ***

Recommendation.....shut your mouth and keep out of other peoples business.....Sorry Harley

No more to be said on this matter....the boy is a fool, and children should be seen and not heard :)

Yes, if someone created an account on December 2nd (rook, of course), they could set all 30 days for the remaining 30 days of the year and on January 1st they would have 30 more.

BerniceC - It sounds to me it might be a lot easier to just send the money to the Aus. customer service person (WhisperzQ) and then let them send the payment to Fencer - that is if WhisperzQ is willing to help out.

I personally think that if someone fails to make a payment in time they should be relegated to pawn status but maybe with Bernie we should make allowances for if she is late in paying :)
Keep trying Bernie

my bank does not offer the American Express option im sorry....it is a building society and doesnt operate the same as a bank :(

Please tell me...can i send you a money order or something similar and if so because of the time it will take to send to you, will I be downgraded to a pawn?
When I have the relevant money order or bank cheque or whatever i can send you an attachment to an email if that will convince you that im genuine :( this is such a hassle

Thanks Vikings !
I followed your suggestion and logged out. That's when I saw the 'remember me' option, which I checked. The system now remembers my User ID and password, but still doesn't take me directly to my games page. I have to click on 'Log On'. Oh Well .....guess I'll settle for this. Thanks Buddy !

Abiodun, I haven't had any problems with the automatic log-in lately Try logging out and resetting your choice of log-in options.

Fencer: I see the gothic chess discussion board messages wider than my screen. I have to scroll left-right to see the messages. it seems it has a character wrap problem. It shows the same using mozilla and (yuck) internet explorer. I didn't have the problem earlier today.
my screen is set to 1024*768.

This was changed when Fencer launched new version a couple of months ago, you can log out and check boxes that will rember your user Id and password when you log back in, however mine won't rember my password.
