Ed, what you want is what almost all Backgammon players want. Autopass. I tried asking for it on the feature request board, but Fencer was dead set against it for some reason that he wouldn't reveal to the board as he'd discussed it earlier before I had started playing Backgammon. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Backgammon, but on occasion it is possible to block your opponent from having a move and there's no point in having him take his turn as he can't move until a space opens up and he might possibly roll the right number to move again. It is possible to play your pieces just right and hold the turn for six or more turns. It'd certainly speed things up if you could keep the turn with yourself. We even discussed having it as an option, so that your opponent would have to grant the autopass before it would take effect. I know when my opponent has block his home base and I have a blot on the bar, I sure like him to use autopass instead having to press the no move possible button when it's my turn. Reversi has this come up too.
Like I said though, Fencer is against it.
