<I don't know what you mean by abusing it but probably people should be aware to keep links out of message subject lines or the content will be hard to reach. At least it can't be reached directly.

I never notice before but if you have only one message, you'll get this in the left column:

Message box (1)

where you can click on the (1) to access the message.

But if the message subject header is a link, the left hand column lists it this way:

Message box Ad That?s me">(1)

The "AD that?s me" is a clickable link taking you to the actual message. So you can access that message from the left hand message area but from your message box it takes you to the outside (or inside as the case may be) link.

Is that confusing? ;)

Yea, you can do that with fellowships names, tournament names, and other things - hopefully that bug will not be abused or Fencer will just take the option of making links away from everyone! :-)

I sent myself a message with this: Ad That’s me in the subject line.

If I sent that to someone else as a subject line and then wrote them a message, they couldn't get to the message because clicking on the message header bring you to the linked site. :)

There is a known bug on the ratings page, Fiona. I think brainking.info says that the system fixes it once a day..
I have a similar problem with anti reversi.. it says I am #3, even though my rating is actually higher than the person listed as #2.. and I also couldn't find anti-reversi on the ratings page.. only in my table of my own ratings..

on my front page it says my rating for battleboats plus is 12(33) but when i click on it to check the leader boards it says i am 6(25) does this only get updated every few days as i quite often notice it differs from my main page - which rank is correct?????

When I define a new game with a rating restriction, it still shows that my opponent will be "any player." Shouldn't it show that my opponent must have a rating within the parameters I selected? Looking at my invitations waiting for response, I would like to able to remind myself how I defined them. And maybe others seeing them would like to know what restrictions I made?

but looking to see if certain friend is on line now makes it awkward and easy to miss someone :o(

well the one advantage of last action, is you can tell quickly who just showed up.

pawns might not be able to modify settings like paid members can , not sure on that though ;)

Go to Who is Online.
at the top of the chart you will see "Level, Name, Last action, etc... One of those columns will have a little green arrow by it.. Click on "Name" and the page will reload with all the people who are currently online in alphabetical order, and the green arrow will be by the Name column. It works fine. You must have done something wrong.

Click the column where the names are, and it will be arranged alphabetically by the person's name.

Umm, I'm looking for a way to sort my "Who is online" list. Right now, it is in no type of order and repeats player's names multiple times. How (or can) I fix this?

Oh, I think I found the answer. Make someone else the captain. That works.

I PM'd mine that turned to pawns to see if they planned on renewing soon, first.. but you can always re-invite them if they upgrade again.

im booting out all the pawns there now. they cant be in one anyway!

Maybe in the team you have to edit them from captain to player before you can remove them as manager.. did you try it that way?

i couldnt change it from manager to member Harley. i tried. and there's no edit button next to his name in the team list. i think i'll just have to remove him

My mistake! The 'edit' button is next to their name in the fellowship list. If you press that, it should give you the option to turn them into a 'member', and that should take away their captain status.

Antje, next to where it says 'captain', can't you use the edit button?

Otherwise its as Crissie says, you'd have to remove them from the fellowship. Maybe with a note to explain why?

i thought of that Crissie, to remove him from the fellowship. i havent done that yet (to anyone) i suppose thats the only way?

i wonder if you just go to the remove player option, and remove them if it would delete them as captain as well... just a thought :)

anyone able to help me on this? I have someone in my fellowship who has let their rook expire, (now a pawn). I need to remove that player from captain status on a team so i can add a new one. im not able to change his status from manager to member, and im not able to edit his captain status either. suggestions?
