I think the current system is fair. Everyone gets the same. (asked in a friendly way) Why wouldn't it be fair? True, it favors players who have been here the longest, but if it treats everyone the same, it's fair. Plus, in your example, you'd know far in advance that you were going away July, so you could plan games you start in May/June accordingly. How about this...only allow as many auto-vacation days as the Time per move. For example, if the game has 3 days for the time to move, then only allow three consecutive auto-vacation days. They don't start out with the full allotment of days. If vacation time were handled that way here, it would be much better. Perhaps give out 3 vacation days each month.
