I first thought my opponent had higher BKR, but now I see it was in fact lower, so that explains the outcome  17. I admit that it should be a very rare case, but taking the BKR at the start at the game, or even at the start of the tournament (in which case it can be a compensation for having had the harder pairings), seems better. The advantage of the lower rated player only occurs if it is a "normal game". 17.
