And like rod said u seem to like picking on people when they don't move as fast as u like. But it's ok for u to pull crap all the time. Like if I remember right who the 1 that switched the number of days on a tourney right before it started from 3 to 7 days and then made them all 30 days. That seem a little more rude when some1 just making moves as they please. Ok back to my corner couch.

You have a good point about the knights. A lot of the players in the running tourneys are knights.
I guess it isn't the last minute, but I like to have things done in plenty of time! And I think that if people are willing to play, why wait until the last second to sign up?! But people do..

I have 6 towards my team (SCRL) keep asking for more.
I do feel anything above 5 or 6 team members is a bit much mind you, especially when tournies also have 2 games even when only 1 needed (backgammon ones).

I feel all tournies really only need 4 team members, and also means 1 person doesnt need to get bogged down with games by joining lots of tournies just so a team can join

... plus these tournaments were created with 15 days to sign up (which is plenty) - but the previous had about 30 days or so (which is too many) - so it is also looking like it's comming down to the last minute which it really isn't (Yet)

Well you also have to consider that by now, all knights can not play (probable already in other tournaments), plus there are the rooks who are probable already playing at their own "game limit" and don't really want to join more tournaments, etc....

BBW, thats why its best to sign early. Most of the HOME teams have been signed up with at least a week to spare. But these latest ones, theres only 11 days left and not many coming forward to play.

Well something is, and I don't think its the choice of games. Even reversi 8x8, usually a popular game - I'm finding it difficult to get players. And I don't think I'm the only one because only 3 teams have signed for that too.

Well I ended up almost not being in a couple of team tournaments because I joined, then with a couple days to go there would still be 1 or 2 spots open - and I really want to play in all the team tournament so I worry.

I'm sure there will be at least 4 teams by the time it starts.

For myself, that is the only one I haven't entered yet basicly because none of the fellowships have more then 1 player in that team - and if I join a team, I want to make sure that we will be able to join. :-)

Fencer what will happen if you dont get 4 teams?
will you make an exception this time and just let it go ahead with 2 or 3, or will you just leave it to be deleted automatically?
Unfortunately there are not many paid members who play it.
I have a team signed up, i guess HOME will too due to you and Harley play it, but I just hope 2 more fellowships will get a team together even if all unrated :o) would be a fun way for them to learn it :o)

The Dark Chess tournament is going to be tough to win. There's 5 of us with 2000 or higher ratings. Should be a good tournament. The Gothic Chess tournament should have a few good match ups too. I'm still learning the game, but have had some success of late.

I'll post once more near the beginning of the tournaments. I think next quarter I'll stagger the start of them. Though I'm the only one entered in all three of the tournaments, it makes for a lot of games to jump on the screen all at once.

Can this not be changed to 1 game each pair?
two games isnt necesary in backgammon due to the die deciding who goes firts.
And 8 teams per section means 16 games each, this is reducing the amount of players who can join cos of limits on knights who are paying members/ contributors. And rooks who already have many games due to large team members numbers needed on the other tournies

Congrats to Arpa for winning my 3 pack Backgammon tournament... Again, out of my bracket, so thats good :) it was a 2 day tournament and still it takes 2 months to finish...

I have just started a new Backgammon championship for people with a winning overall game record. 3 days per move for fast players, first 20 people to sign up, and it will be started.

Go to the Team Tournament link. Find the Reversi 6x6 tournament, and when you get there, it should give you the opportunity to sign your team up for the tournament.
